"Good location and view"

"Could be my favourite hotel. Ever. The staff(owners) are lovely. Gave a tour of the wine cellar which was SPECTACULAR! Like a cathedral. The decor was brilliantly done. The breakfast buffet was excellent. The room was beautifully decorated w all new fixtures. The garden patio was out of a movie. Beds were king size and perfect. I have never stayed in a hotel with more attention to detail. And the town is the most perfect medieval town I have seen in France. We had dinner at Henri IV square...

"Front desk and wait staff was amazing! The views in the Chateau are beautiful. We felt so safe walking around at night. The food was amazing. The staff even gave us a lot of tips and recommendations about the area as we are tourists from the US. Moe was exceptional, she gave me parking hacks around the train station. As well as how to navigate around France. My problem here is the cleaning staff. They would knock early in the morning before 9AM to come and clean, like they were so eager to...

"Stop looking and stay here! Fabien’s hospitality made it so worth it. Met us upon arrival, very clear instructions and he brought us a fresh breakfast in the morning. Flat has everything a family of 4 (two young teen kids) could need. The location couldn’t be better, minutes away from historic sites and amazing food options. No street noise. Can’t say enough about how great the stay was, will return and stay here again, without hesitation. Merci Fabien!"

"Das Hotel war insgesamt sauber. Das Zimmer zwar recht klein, aber für einen kurzen Aufenthalt ok. Allerdings war der Aufenthalt nicht besonders einladend: Auf dem Flur roch es durchgehend unangenehm nach Zigarettenrauch. Das Frühstück war leider eine herbe Enttäuschung – sehr lieblos und qualitativ schlecht. Aufgrund des schlechten Frühstücks und des Geruchs im Flur würde ich hier nicht noch einmal buchen."

"The staff were very helpful and friendly. The single person room was spacious (even though we added an extra person) and very clean. The air conditioning was exceptionally appreciated as our stay was during a heatwave. Breakfast was brilliant- locally sourced goods, homemade cakes, lots of choice. Well worth the 16€. Our one piece of feedback would be the lack of shower- there was a bath with a very low shower head and no shower curtain. It would have been nice to have been told at time of...

"Petit déjeuner restreint mais reste convenable pour le prix. Chambre un peu petit avec une salle de bain ou il ne faut pas être trop imposant. Et à rénover surtout. Literie vieillot. Réservation faite pour 2 personnes mais nous n'avions qu'une serviette et pas de tapis de bains. La porte de la chambre laissait passé un gros courant d'air Personnel gentil point positif. Convient pour une nuit voir 2 maximum, mais pas plus. "

"We booked 2 twin rooms through expedia and when we arrived we were told that only one room was booked Two of us had to get a single room at an extra cost of just under 30 euros each I spoke to the manager the next morning and he is blaming expedia and told me i must ring them to get a refund I feel like i have been fobbed off"

"This is essentially a motel in Villers and as far as motels go, it was fine. The bedding and towels were clean but the room could not be called well-maintained otherwise. There were plenty of insects outside the doors and along the corridors. The fire alarm in another unit went off at 6:00 AM during my stay and remained blaring for around 10 minutes, though I cannot say whether this was actually the establishment's fault or whether the occupant was culpable.
