Ocean Cottage 122 Deja Blue

Deja Blue is a 3-bedroom 3.5 bath 2 story oceanfront townhome located in The Cottages at Jekyll Island Community. Open floor concept with kitchen, dining, laundry and master suite (KING)and oceanside porch on main level. The second floor offers another master suite (KING) and a third guest ensuite (Queen). Both upper-level bedrooms open to a balcony overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. This Cottage has a designated office as well as a single car garage. Conveniently located next to the Cottages at Jekyll Island Clubhouse. Rental includes access to the community clubhouse, fitness room, pool, firepit, beach deck and beach access.

THE COTTAGES BEACH ACCESS:
The Cottages beach is approximately 2000 linear feet and has a dune area and seawall that runs the length of the Cottages oceanfront property. There are 3 dune crossovers to the sand area landside of the seawall that are always accessible, and that area can be used for recreational purposes. The access to the beach over the seawall is centrally located at the pool & clubhouse. At high tide, the water is at the seawall. The tides change every 6 hours from low to high tide. A tide chart will help you plan your beach time. The nearest beach park with ocean access all day is Oceanview Beach Park, appx 2 miles south just past the Holiday Inn. You may view all Jekyll Beaches by visiting the Jekyll Island website under the Beaches tab.

I loved this charming, beautifully decorated cottage. It was so spacious with wonderful views of the ocean and so close to the pool and ocean access. I couldn't have asked for a more wonderful place to stay. I will definitely be back!

Exceeded my Expectations

Had a wonderful stay on Jekyll Island. Through many years of renting, I have come to expect that properties are often "less than" the description and pictures used for marketing purposes. This time I was pleasantly surprised to enjoy a rental that was better than expected. Lovely ocean view, high ceilings and doors, coastal type decor with relaxing blues and greens, walk-in closets and well-equipped kitchen. Since we visited in January, we made good use of the fireplace, a lovely way to relax after a day of touring, bike riding and a sunset beach horse ride. All in all, a wonderful stay!

Would stay again.

Cannot say enough, good things about the location, furniture, and the ease of checking in. Felt perfectly comfortable and at home. The only drawback that our group had, and we all remarked on it, was having one roll of toilet paper per bathroom for a full week, one roll of paper towel, one garbage bag, and hand soap was an issue. The hand soap that was there was watered down, and the third bathroom did not have any kind of soap in it at all: not pump soap nor bar soap. Having Kleenex available on each level would be a nice touch, too. As far as everything else goes, we were 100% satisfied.

Calm after the Hurricane

This was a beautiful property steps from the beach. Fully stocked kitchen. Hurricane Debby unearthed treasures from the bottom of the sea. Lots of conch shells, sand dollars, shark teeth found. It was a relaxing 4 days. The pool (1 doors down) was a great alternative during high tide.

Jekyll Getaway

The house is beautiful and furnished nicely. Views are spectacular. A few suggestions: more towels are a must more candles and a way to light them We had a storm that knocked out power and there are only 3 candles in the house and there was no way to light them. The lighter supplied for the grill or stove was empty.

Great condo - close to pool!

Crazy nice condo and we loved how close it is to pool. If Jekyll Island is your place then you cannot go wrong with this place. We also forgot a valuable and the owner mailed it back which was super helpful!

Beautiful and Relaxing

Very beautiful and comfortable surroundings in a great location on the island. We really enjoyed watching the sunrise each morning and the shrimping boats from the back deck. The pool and clubhouse were wonderful as well. It is a great place disconnect and spend quality time with family without all the tourist trappings. Will definitely be back!

Beautiful Place

Beautiful place, spacious and very clean. There were fruit flies inside and it would be nice to have the supplies on hand to deal with them. Also, there needs to be clear information about the location of the trash compactor.

House is great, beach is lacking

The house is very nice. Comfortable beds, high end kitchen, wonderful views. The beach was not so great. The is a sandy area above a large wall of stones but below the stones, the beach itself is only available at low tide. The water quality is very cloudy. Simply not a pretty, white sandy beach next to clear water. There is plenty to do in and around Jekyll island. Our kids loved the Lady Jane shrimp boat excursion. Dinner at the Wharf was excellent. 5 stars for the house, 3 stars for the beach.

Loved it!

My husband and I loved this property. It is tastefully designed and quite comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed. The management was very friendly and helpful. I can’t think of anything negative to say. It was just a wonderful experience.

Beautiful furnishings and updated appliances. One towel per guest and no swim towels.

We enjoyed our week on Jekyll. The Cottage 122 was close to the pool, and near the walkover to the beach. The cottage was well equipped for the kitchen, but we had to make a run for more dish soap.
