The weather in the Willamette Valley of Oregon had been less than ideal for eclipse viewing for a few days, thick clouds were rolling in in the mornings and haze from wildfires took up the skies in the afternoon. Luckily, the gods heard our prayers and we had clear blue skies in the morning on Eclipse Day. Seeing the sky go dark and stars that we'd only see in the winter was an experience of a lifetime. Room was nice, good wifi, super comfy bed and pillows. The complimentary breakfast was great, the indoor pool was amazing, nice big TV in the room. Will definitely be coming again
