End of Summer Family Weekend

We came for a 3 day weekend and have had a wonderful time! The property is absolutely beautiful and the addition of the bunkhouse is a really cool feature. Make sure if you stay you are prepared to be at least 35-45 minutes away from any type of food or convenience store. We packed plenty of supplies so it wasn’t an issue for us. The stairs down to the private dock are quite a trek especially for the older people in our group but we made sure and just took down our iced chests so we didn’t have to make the long walk back up the house multiple times. The property is gorgeous and in a gorgeous location. We would love to come stay again!

The perfect getaway.

This place was the perfect getaway for our friend group. We wanted a weekend full of fishing and hanging out and that’s exactly what we got! The cabin and bunkhouse were so cozy and had everything we needed for the long weekend. The dock was AWESOME for fishing. We caught almost every type of fish. We were able to catch enough fish to have a FEAST! Make sure you stop and get supplies before you get to the property, the closest store is about 30 minutes away. The stairs to the dock were steep so make sure when you go down, you have everything you need! Such a good weekend and would highly recommend.

Secluded, private, relaxing get away off the beaten path

If you are looking for a secluded get away from society, this is the place. Located 30 minutes from any town in a private cove this cabin is a wonderful escape. It has a great swimming dock and LOVED the bunkhouse for the grandkids. A great choice of games for the family and the outdoor space was a hit with all of the family from the fire pit to the spacious outdoor deck with excellent grilling accessories for some fantastic meals outdoors. Lovely lighted areas outside as well. The cabin was quite cozy and comfortable and the kitchen was well accessorized for preparing meals. The kids had a great time swimming off the dock and relaxing on the lily pad and we even caught some fish. It is a quiet lake and so is the neighborhood. It is located on gravel and coming back from the dock gives you a great cardio workout but it is a VERY nice place and the hosts are amazing as well. Loved the fresh flower bouquet to greet us. Would definitely recommend this place for a vacation.

Family Getaway

Our family (5 Adults, 2 Kids) had a wonderful time at Grand Lake. The home was spacious and well appointed! *Just note if hauling a boat the road is narrow, rocky and dirt.

This property was absolutely adorable and had such a homey feeling to it! If you need a place to stay in Jay I recommend this one! We will definitely be trying to come back that way in the future!

What a gem!

This cabin and bunkhouse were such a terrific home away from home for our family! Wonderful lake weekend with family, full of fishing, swimming, kayaking, jeep rides and relaxing! It is private and the neighbors we did meet were so very kind! Beautiful memories were made! A helpful and wonderful host to top it off!
