Jarrow Hall, Bede's World, near to Jarrow, South Tyneside, Great Britain. Parkland and nature reserve near Monkton Village In the 1960/70s this area was known as "The Slaggy". Slag had been dumped here from the iron works and demolished buildings. There was a "crusher" that pulverised rocks and stone and was used as hard core. Now it's a very pleasant parkland area and looks much better than the old "Slaggy"

Lovely staff and great location, room was a bit loud at night since it’s close to an area with busy nightlife but it’s not the hotels fault and it stopped around midnight. I’ll come back next time I visit Newcastle!
