Beautifully recently renovated home just steps from the water awaits you for a relaxed getaway on quaint Jamestown Island. Only minutes from Newport and the stunning Rhode Island south coast beaches, this home will provide you with the perfect location to explore or just chill on the deck overlooking Narraganset Bay, the Plum Beach lighthouse, and Jamestown bridge. Jamestown offers a quiet rural atmosphere with an abundance of open spaces and lovely views providing an excellent location for walking or riding bicycles. The small village center offers many restaurants with al fresco dining, shopping, and water taxi to historic Newport.

This professionally landscaped home features open concept living with an updated fully equipped kitchen, 2 bedrooms, 2 full baths, washer/dryer, large deck with retractable awning for eating or sunning, and parking for 2 vehicles. Linens and bedding are provided but you are welcome to bring your own. Air conditioning.

Great stay

Very clean house with everything a person could need. We stayed during extreme heat conditions and the whole house was very comfortable with zone controlled AC.Sunsets from the deck were awesome in this quiet neighborhood. We would return again.

Repeat stay

We opportunistically booked three available nights just the week before. We’ve been to this house many times because it has a great location, it’s convenient to of course Jamestown, but also Newport and Narragansett. The house is well equipped, and well maintained and right outside. their are lovely walks and a wonderful neighborhood right by the bay.

Another quick mid-winter visit

We've left positive reviews of this property in the past and nothing has changed. While of course a mid-winter stay is likely to be cold with less daylight, you still get the coastal view and quick access to Newport to the east or Narragansett to the west.

Jamestown visit

We loved our stay in Jamestown! This was a beautiful house with a great location!! Clean and well appointed with everything we needed! The deck outside was great for enjoying beautiful sunsets! My boyfriend, coworker and I stayed here for a wedding in Newport! Cute house, great location as it was close to a lot of places! Owners are very nice and easy to communicate with! Highly recommended!

A getaway even in the middle of winter

We timed our visit when there wasn’t any rain or snow. As usual the house was in great shape and well stocked. Plenty of things to do between Newport to the east, Jamestown itself and Narragansett to the west.

Highly recommend. Great house and location.

We had a wonderful weekend stay at this house. Great location. ( very close to the water) with views of the water. We spent most of our time enjoying the lovely deck. House was clean and included everything we needed. Very safe and quiet neighborhood. Close and easy drive to Newport. Owners communication was wonderful! Highly recommend
