Terrible Communication and Disgusting Room Conditions
Check-in was an absolute nightmare due to awful communication. Ahead of time, I requested that a local family member who lives in the building be the point of contact.
Instead, while I was traveling from the airport, Travelio kept contacting me and insisted I download their app to pay a deposit. The app didn't even show my booking. In the end, my family member had to pay the deposit from his own account just to get the keys.
The room itself was in shocking condition. The veneer on the furniture was peeling, the shower was mouldy, and the washing machine smelled terrible.
Worse yet, I found wet, freshly washed underwear left inside the machine from a previous user.
To make matters worse, the washing machine was faulty, locking my clothes inside. While looking for a release lever, I found black sludge and rubbish piled behind the machine. It took multiple family members pressing random buttons to finally force it open.
I only stayed because the room was prepaid and I needed to be in the same building as my family. Avoid this place.
