Wonderful

We stayed for our 40th wedding anniversary and could not have asked for anything better. Location was great, got to wake up to a beautiful sunrise every morning, which you could see from the master bedroom, sunset wat right outside of the front door! The property was beautiful and quiet. This may be my new favorite place for vacation and possibly retirement.

Turtle Dunes Paradise

This is a fantastic condo! It is the cleanest one we’ve ever stayed in at Turtle Dunes. The window seat was a perfect nook to read and relax. We loved our stay and will return! The owner was very responsive and quick in responding when I had a question. I highly recommend this unit!

Wonderful location

The property manager is very helpful; tropical storm Nicole had just left and water had entered around the sliding door. She called to let us know and had already mopped up the water and set up fans to dry the area. Some water was leaking onto the couch from the upstairs condo and the property manager sent a person to deal with the situation. The condo itself has a great view of the ocean and the beach. It was clean and quiet. We plan to return in the Spring.

Great condo to stay again!

This property was wonderful! Very clean, updated, supplied household items needed including plenty of paper products. Communication was fast a friendly. We would definitely stay again and recommend to friends staying in the area.

Nice place

Overall a nice place, great location for getting to the beach or pool quickly and easily. Very clean, comfortable beds, plenty of amenities. The check in/out process was very easy! The starter amount of tp, dishwasher/ laundry pods and trash bags was enough to last us the week. The rental mgr was very quick to respond to any inquiries/issues. I do suggest you bring a white noise machine if you are a light sleeper, you can hear the people above you/out on the walkway, like at a hotel. A few things to know before renting this condo: this is a humongous resort property that stretches along the beach, and Turtle Dunes is the very last building. It is not a walkable distance to get to shops or town, although you can rent bikes or golf carts to get around inside the resort. The little area within the resort that has shops and restaurants is cute (the shops are mostly boutiques), my family liked Natural Slice (pizza), Falcons Nest and Marche (ice cream, pastries, breakfast). They had live music each night over the 4th. The best place we ate was The Salty Pelican in downtown Fernandina Beach!! It was recommended by a local and did not disappoint. The hotel at the front of the resort is beautiful, they had a huge 4th of July party with free glow sticks and a DJ. You cannot use the hotel pool or shuttle service if you are not a hotel guest. The parking at the condo is limited, and the overflow lot is very far away! They have a couple luggage carts to help bring up your stuff, only one elevator but it is pretty fast. **There is no on site beach chair rental, it is a company in town (Riptide). I highly suggest you call and set up your beach chair rental in advance. (Or go to WalMart and buy a couple $35 chairs and save some $$$ like we did. We left the chairs there, hopefully they still are!)** The beach is almost completely covered in shells! I’ve never seen anything like it. I found 2 intact sand dollars and my husband found several shark teeth. We took a sunset cruise with Amelia River Cruises, and it was wonderful! We just happened to get to see a submarine being guided in to port. We also saw a few dolphin. Amazing! Again, overall a nice condo in a nice location. Great beach, decent pool.

Perfect upscale beach retreat

This rental is newly updated and has amazing views. You will not be disappointed! We walked over 5 miles each day and biked even more on the beautiful paths around the area. We were sad to see our visit come to and end! We can’t wait to book against b!

Winter get away

The property is beautiful. Everything we needed to feel like home. The sun rises were spectacular and after coffee walks on the beach were a perfect way to start our day. So much to do within a short drive. Historic Fernandina Beach has shops and many restaurants with delicious food! Enjoyed hiking on Little Talbot & Big Talbot Islands. We are already planning to come back.
