Newly Renovated Home in Avondale Historic District

Summary:
Located in the heart of the Historic Avondale District, this home was beautifully renovated and decorated by a local interior designer. You'll be in the perfect location in a quiet neighborhood walking distance to coffee shops, restaurants, bars and waterfront. You'll be 0.2 miles to the Avondale district including Southern Grounds coffee, 2 miles to Riverside, and 15 minutes to Jaguars Stadium. Perfect for spending time with family and friends. We provide you a guest manual with a local's guide including our favorite spots.

The Space:
Renovated by a local interior designer, you will appreciate every detail. This home is the bottom unit of a duplex with a separate, private entrance. The home is complete with all the cooking ware, dining sets, Keurig coffee maker, fast WIFI, and a record player with classic records for your enjoyment.

The newly renovated bathroom has towels provided for each guest as well as soap, shampoo / conditioner and a blow dryer.

The unit also has a Washer and Dryer for your use.

Primary Bedroom: Queen size bed, smart TV, closet
2nd Bedroom: Queen size bed and closet
Florida Room: Twin size bed with pull out trundle bed (twin size) and a desk. Privacy panels for sleeping privacy.

Simply perfect

The location in Avondale is beyond excellent. Walk to the cool restaurants. The space is better than the pictures. There is nothing missing from this one. The host is super responsive and wants to know the bit pick issues. I will look for this host’s properties anywhere I travel going forward.

Amazing Avondale

I’ve lived in Florida for decades, but had never heard of Avondale, it’s amazing! The apartment is in a historic building and although the photos are accurate, they don’t reflect the large size of the rooms, the height of the ceilings, and what looks like wallpaper are actually beautiful painted murals! As others have said, restaurants and shops are a short walk, and the neighborhood is gorgeous! Our dogs loved walking the streets too! We came to town for a concert at Daily’s Place, which is close, so only stayed 2 nights, but will definitely be back!

Heart of Avondale

My daughter and I stayed here while visiting parents/grandparents. The pictures looked great, but I would say it’s even better in person. Everything about staying there was easy. It’s just a few blocks away from all the restaurants and shops in Avondale, very easy walking distance. It’s well appointed and very clean. I would bring my whole family back in a heartbeat.

This fabulously decorated home was perfect. Blocks from cute downtown Avondale and the St. John's River. A perfect place to stay if you are visiting Jacksonville! I didn't want to leave!

Comfortable Apartment

We enjoyed staying at your beautifully decorated apartment in the quaint Avondale neighborhood. The home had everything we needed for a comfortable night’s stay. Such a great location! We were able to walk down to the river as well as walk to the shops and restaurants. Highly recommend!

Sweet spot in beautiful Avondale

This property was the perfect home and location for my mom and I to celebrate her birthday in the Riverside Avondale historic areas for Luminaria 2023. Even though the event got rained out we still enjoyed our stay so much. The home was impeccably clean, very nicely decorated, comfortable and in a beautiful, safe area of Avondale. Convenient to walking to all the shops and great restaurants also! We will definitely book this home again!

Visiting Family in Avondale

This apartment was very comfortable and clean. The apartment and all of the furniture, beds and linens were in excellent condition. Check-in was easy and there was a nice binder with local recommendations. Will definitely stay here again.
