Beautiful condo overlooking Majestic Ocean !!!

  • This is an amazing place facing the ocean. The views of the beach and ocean are spectacular in this condo. Wake up to see the breathtaking sunrise from your bedroom that has floor to ceiling windows. The unit is tastefully furnished and has modern kitchen with all the appliances including a trendy wine cooler. Please make sure to leave everything at home as this kitchen is fully stocked with all the utensils and dishes that you may need. There are two bedrooms in this unit. The master bedroom sports a lovely queen size bed with a walk in closet and an adjacent bathroom. The second bedroom has two twin beds with its own bathroom as well. The entire condo has an open air feel to it that really promotes peace of mind as you hear the gentle ocean waves at all times of day. Of course the unit has a spacious and private balcony. The building has a lovely swimming pool on the ground level with direct access to the beach.

Host was fine. We LOVE the location. We liked the size of the condo and it was in good condition with lots of useful things in the kitchen and new bath linens and clean beds.When there was an issue, the manager/host was available to help.

FOR SURE the best bang for your buck ON THE BEACH! Walkable to restaurants and bars. Wake up every morning watching the sun rise from your bed! Balcony allows sunrise and sunset views! Great communication with host. Condo is a little outdated but furniture and bed were comfortable! Kitchen well appointed. Called host about bedroom ceiling fan not working and had a new one installed within a fews days. Building is safe and well maintained. We would not hesitate to stay here again!

The pictures on VRBO were at least 10 years old! Condo was not updated in years. Kitchen had broken stove, broken light fixture, wine fridge not working, coffee maker broken. All doors and cabinets warped. Place was not cleaned, dirty dishes in dishwasher, balcony filthy and chairs broken, no toilet paper, roll of paper towels moldy, bugs in guest room and living room, a/c filter filthy wrong size and no cover on a/c, cabinet in master bath rotten wood, sink falling in, toilet seat all chipped, shower water controls did not work properly, rusty drain, sheets stained and thread bare, towels also old. Except for location and view this unit should be taken off VRBO site till it is fixed! I have lots of pictures!

Nice place with a great view, super host

We stayed for six weeks during treatment at Mayo. We had a lovely stay. Everything we needed was in the condo. All the dishes, cooking gear, linens and soap (baths and kitchen) were there to make our stay easy and comfortable. The beds and couches were comfortable. Fantastic view! Very easy access to the beach. Nice pool. Covered parking was a bonus. Unit was quiet. Never heard the neighbors or noise from the beach. AC worked great during a very hot time. Ice maker in the large frig was helpful. Pictures in listing are accurate to the unit. Close to groceries, other shopping and several excellent restaurants. About 10 mins to the highway for easy access to anywhere in Jax. Only note I'd make in case it is an issue for some visitors is the washer and dryer are not in the unit. A common laundry is just a few steps down the hall. Laundry room is clean and well kept. Four quarters a load for both washer and dryer. I never had trouble doing my laundry when I wanted to....and while it was happening I was sitting on the balcony watching the surf! That doesn't happen at home! Host was kind, helpful and very responsive. Price was very good compared to other beachfront units in the area. Recommend this unit to anyone planning a trip to the Jax Beach area. We'd definitely stay again when we're in the area.

The condo is basically as described. It would be a great place for a short term, relatively inexpensive beach rental given its access to the beach and pool. However, I needed a long term stay while recovering from surgery. It did not suit my needs. There were some random cobwebs, a bowl with old dog food under the sink, and the ac filter was dirty. I was immune compromised and it definitely wasn’t a good fit for me given the need for cleanliness. The linens are old and need to be replaced, not that there’s anything wrong with them. Just a little threadbare. The check in process was unusual. The owner has to initially buzz you in. He contacted me a couple of times inquiring about when I would arrive, which made me feel a somewhat rushed since it was nighttime. Otherwise, the owner was very responsive when contacted. I ended up leaving early and getting a different rental that was much cleaner.

Beautiful views of the sunrise in a quiet condo on top floor.

I loved my time at the condo, while I was working at Mayo hospital. It was a safe neighborhood, with nice neighbors. The owner was easy to communicate with and flexible with extending my stay. The natural beauty of the beach,waking up to the sunset, watching the surfers, boats, dolphins and people watching was great from the windows and balcony. The couch could be updated, but the view makes up for it. Plenty of cooking items and closet space. Gorgeous place with constant sounds of the waves. You will enjoy it !
