  • Nuestra encantadora villa de 2 dormitorios se encuentra en el complejo Captain's Court adyacente al hotel Omni Amelia Island Plantation. Salga por las puertas corredizas de vidrio de la sala de estar principal hacia un patio que mira hacia el Océano Atlántico. Camina unos pasos desde el patio hasta el paseo marítimo que baja por la playa. Cerca de The Amelia Island Plantation ofrece muchas actividades que incluyen golf cercano, tenis, bicicleta y senderos para caminar, recorridos por la naturaleza y en Segway, un spa, tiendas y restaurantes, ¡por supuesto, todo esto es si puedes alejarte de las hermosas playas de arena blanca!

    Nuestra villa es cómoda, está bien mantenida y es ideal para familias, con fácil caminar en un nivel a la playa y en el otro nivel a un pequeño patio de césped rodeado de árboles. La unidad está alicatada en todas partes. La cocina es de tamaño confortable con fácil acceso al almacenamiento y electrodomésticos. Está completamente equipada con platos, pequeños electrodomésticos y utensilios de cocina.

    La sala de estar es abierta y bien ventilada con una vista fabulosa del océano. El sofá es una cama queen. La cocina se actualizó a finales de 2016. Otras comodidades incluyen un gran televisor de pantalla plana, reproductor de DVD y acceso inalámbrico a Internet de alta velocidad.

    El complejo Captain's Court es pequeño e íntimo con solo 32 unidades, pero está al lado del hotel Omni y muy cerca de todas las comodidades del complejo. El complejo también tiene su propia piscina y cancha de tenis. La unidad está situada en la parte superior y lateral de una duna de arena y hay escaleras desde el estacionamiento hasta la unidad. La unidad es de dos niveles y también incluye escaleras. No es adecuado para personas con problemas de movilidad.

    The lovely ocean views are the highlight of this relaxing condo. The large windows in the living area and sliding patio doors off the dining area allow you to enjoy the beautiful setting throughout the main floor. Even though it is a ground floor unit, you can still see the ocean waves across the dunes. The patio feels very private and we enjoyed watching the bunnies, birds and even an armadillo as we took in the beach views and the sunrises each morning were spectacular! As the listing mentions, there are many, many stairs to carry your luggage up from the parking area and into the unit. We had a comfortable stay with along with our corgi!

    Our son had traumatic brain injury before our trip and was in ICU for almost a month and is now at the Shepherd Center in Atlanta . He is 20 years old. When we told the host about it all we got back was a message that they got our message. No empathy at all. We were planning to go back and possibly use this unit but I would never use someone like this.

    Great unit and the view was absolutely gorgeous! The steps leading up to the unit itself were daunting, especially carrying all of our luggage and groceries. Definitely not for anyone with hip or leg/knee issues. Otherwise absolutely wonderful.

    Property was clean and well stocked. Great location. Some steps to get to unit for anyone with mobility issues but parking was easy. Great views and easy to get to beach and shops/stores/restaurants on the Omni plantation.

    Our unit had fantastic views of the ocean and wonderful proximity for hearing the surf! We enjoyed the unit, were very comfortable and our beagle, Gracie Mae, was right at home. There is a grassy area right out the front and back sliders. This is definitely the unit in Captain’s Court you want to stay in if you love the beach and ocean :)

    Great location with stunning ocean views. Was very well kept and clean. Also liked the fact it had 24 hour security gate. Nature trails were great to jog on. Great stay.

    Let’s start with the positives. The condo is nice and the views and proximity to the beach is amazing! Now let’s talk about parking and the stairs. If you have mobility issues the flights of stairs from the parking area to the condo will be a significant issue. Not to mention during the busy season, parking will be a problem. So, if you can’t park in one of the 3 parking lots for the many condos, the stairs will become a bigger issue getting your belongings back to the condo. Beds are ok. There are stairs inside the condo as well.

    Very Peaceful

    The home is cozy and the location to the beach couldn't be better. It was very quiet and at night we sat out back and listened to the waves crash. Our host was accomidating and easy to communicate with.

    Overall, enjoyed our stay. Great view. Easy access to beach.Only issues encountered were did not get check in information until almost when we arrived. And when we got to condo, cleaning crew was still on site cleaning the place. After that everything went well. Would stay there again.

    Perfect Beach Condo

    This is our third time staying here and it does not disappoint! The condo is clean and well appointed. The location is great being so close to such a clean and less populated beach. The property managers make everything comfortable and easy for your stay. We look forward to next year.

    Love this condo

    This is the third time we have stayed in this unit. It has a perfect location, with an uncrowded beach. It is nicely set up, with a lovely view of the ocean, sunrises and sunsets. Convenient to Fernandina and great places to eat. We will be back!

    Beautiful beachfront condo

    This is a very cute, well-appointed condo with stunning ocean views. The lower level patio lets out to a beautiful green space and connects to the beach path in seconds. We had a short stay, but there is much to explore around the Omni. You do need to go down a number of stairs from the parking, which was fine for my family but may be tricky for others.

    Stairway to Peace and Tranquility

    Great property! We loved being able to walk to the Omni shops for food and shopping. We usually stay on the north end of the island, but the southern end has won us over all thanks to this location! Previous rentals we’ve stayed in have not had the best furniture; that is NOT the case here! Furniture was comfortable and well kept. Yes there are stairs, but they aren’t steep. Plush, well manicured grounds, and an amazing view of the beach! Oh and let me tell you about the sunrise, very picturesque!

    This listing does not share how many steps it takes to get to the unit. Lots and lots of steps leading to unit plus two sets of stairs inside unit. Total of 61 steps to get to bedrooms! One guest has a recent knee replacement. This should have been included in the description. Unit was not as clean as it should have been with sleep gummies from a prior guest were left right on a nightstand in a bedroom. Host knew we had 4 adults but only provided water and snacks for 2 people, Nightstands are old, paint coming off. WiFi was incorrectly listed on email information. Did not receive email with a code to get into unit until after 4:00 pm and we had to call. Cobwebs coming out of air vents. Mattresses need updated….not as pristine as described. Would not recommend renting this unit.

    Beautiful Location

    Loved this place, except all the stairs. Lots of stairs going up but if you go to 3rd set, not as many. We didnt realize that the unit also has 3 floors, so basically you go up to go down... great location, beautiful condo, close to shope and restaurants on site. Falcons Nest was good. The pool was also clean and refreshing

    Great getaway

    Enjoyed the unit. Everything was as advertised. Nice sturdy patio furniture. Sunrises spectacular. Very quiet with ready access to beachfront. Walked beach every morning 43 steps will tire you but once you get there all good. Also code for door hit home after putting in code to both open and close

    lovely home with great beach access and view

    This is a very nice rental. The view from the living room and kitchen was outstanding. Our dog loved the grassy areas on two levels. The steps getting to the condo were only a problem getting two weeks worth of stuff lugged in and out, but we were aware of them beforehand. The condo is three levels so a lot of up and down from one room to the next.
