"Innkeepers Heidi and Dan were very welcoming and friendly. Dan met us as we arrived and walked us into the inn. Heidi got us checked in and gave us a tour of the manor and showed us our room. "The Federal Pointe Inn of Gettysburg has so much history! It was originally constructed to be a school so the ceilings are extra high. The bedroom was spacious and the bathroom was large, but could have used better lighting. The bedrooms also lacked hooks for ease of hanging outer wear as the closet was located in the far end of the room away from the door. When we stayed, it was Easter Sunday so the restaurant and bar was closed, so we didn't get to enjoy restaurant/ bar, but we did walk...

"Great location and large room, downside was no staff on site; we needed to call to get someone from the next door diner to open the door. No welcome or further context. Also no staff when we checked out. Rooms are nice and spacious, the outdoors patio and garden are a great opportunity to relax in, but is current quite empty; if they would make this a bit more cosy and welcoming it would be a lot better."

"ALL the staff were great! The breakfast was awesome. The issues were our room smelled like smoke, I found dog hair in our room, and A LOT of the people staying there had dogs (I thought they were not allowed.) Not a huge issue, but it seemed like the staff took a smoke break every hour!"
