"We had a lovely one-night stay at House 41 while visiting Aylesbury Theatre. The room was spotless, warm and welcoming, making it a lovely place to relax after our evening out. Helen, the owner, was absolutely lovely and made us feel very welcome. The breakfast was freshly cooked, delicious and the perfect start to the day. "Beautiful setting and conveniently located to Tring and especially the train station which is a couple of minutes drive from the hotel. The rooms were clean and well appointed. After hours eats/snacks are not available. The only reason I left 3 stars for "well maintained" is that much of the wood trim on the exterior of the hotel is in desperate need for paint before the intricate wood trims start to rot. The grounds are magnificent. We would stay there again."

"Less than a mile and quite scenic walk along the canal to the train station. Not many shops are open past 1800 most days including weekends so food and shopping options are a bit limited. Overall nice place to stay."
