Water's Edge on Cayuga Lake in Ithaca

Need a break from the holidays? Come relax and recharge at this gorgeous lake house! Wake up and have your coffee looking out over the water at this well-appointed house. Fully equipped new kitchen with everything you might need for a celebration!  Our dining table seats 10. There are sliding glass doors to the water, 2-sided gas fireplace, living room with large sectional, desk, printer, & 65" smartTV. King suite w/fireplace, skylight, smartTV, & private outdoor deck with bistro set. Primary bath has a gorgeous glass shower with pebble floor, soaker tub, & skylight. Stunning queen guest room w/full bath. 3rd bedroom w/twin-over-full bunks, daybed, and skylight. Common area w/sleeper sofa, tv, 2 skylights, & reading nook.  Outdoor dining table, huge deck with comfy furniture, gas bbq, & 2 fire pits. Dock, boathouse, 3 kayaks, & paddle board. High chair, pack-n-play, and kids dinnerware/utensils. A/C, Wifi, new washer/dryer, blackout blinds, games, puzzles, and books for all ages. You will never want to leave!

House is 3 stories high. Ground floor full kitchen, dining room, half bath, and living room with fireplace leading to porch overlooking the lake. Second floor queen guest room with full bath, common area with sleeper sofa, half bath, "kids" bedroom with bunk beds and daybed. Top floor primary suite with king bed, full bath, fireplace, and private deck overlooking the water. Boathouse with lift for boats under 20 ft.



There are 60 stairs from the parking area to the house so this is not a good choice for people with mobility issues. There is room for 3 cars at the bottom of the driveway and another 3 at the top of the driveway. Entire property line is waterfront so children must be tended to at all times.

There is no smoking allowed anywhere on the property including outside. Please ask any visiting guests to refrain.

Minimum age of primary renter, who must be one of the guests staying in the house, is 30 years old.

I am available by phone call or text 24 hours a day while you are staying in the house.

Relaxing and Beautiful Home

My husband and I stayed here with our two young children. The house is beautiful, very clean and well stocked. The views are gorgeous and the property is located near many great attractions. Ardys is a great communicator and host!

The property was very beautiful and well maintained. The kitchen was well stocked and had everything we needed (although we didn't cook a lot). It was very nice to have restrooms on each floor and to have two bedrooms with attached very nice bathrooms. We stayed a week and had plenty of towels to use without doing laundry (although we washed some just to keep the place neat).The host was attentive and made sure we were comfortable and had what we needed. Everything we used in the house worked and was well maintained. The firepit was very nice to sit around to finish out our days with some wine and laughter. We also used the kayaks and enjoyed having good access to the lake.Little touches like the very generous welcome basket of supplies and beach flip-flops were appreciated and helpful.All-in-all, I don't know how the stay in this property could have been nicer.One note: The stairs down to the house are very sturdy and safe, but be aware this is not a property for mobility challenged individuals. Access to the property and the different floors of the house require the use of stairs.

Absolutely gorgeous lakeside home, in impeccable condition and beautifully decorated. Idyllic setting with open family space, kitchen, a lakeside lawn, and a dock with boat house all at lake level, and then bedrooms on two levels above. Private rooms for two couples, and 3-4 children can share a room, even if adults. We had 4 adult children (but one was male) and he felt like “odd man out” because he had to sleep on the couch. But everyone had a fantastic time and there is sooo much space to spread out. Also, two full baths and two half baths means you’re never far away from a bathroom! I’m not a morning person, and even I woke up at 5:30 am to catch the sunrise over Cayuga Lake. Breathtaking!

Lake family vacation

We had an amazing family vacation at this beautiful lake home with amazing waterfront views. The home is beautiful, immaculate with tons of hangout places inside and out, and fully stocked with towels, bed linen, and kitchen items. We fully utilized everything with tons of cooking, dining and water sports like kayaking and paddle boarding. Wonderful time!

Great property, Great host for family gatherings

75 Maplewood has so much to offer; comfort, lake view and activity. We used the kayaks on property. Family get together around fire pit. Comfortable deck seating. The property interior has all the amenities; kitchen fully stocked, easy access to WiFi, Bluetooth and streaming services all within a quality decorative interior design and comfortable bedding. The host was terrific in offering information about Ithaca’s amenities with easy access from property. The best family gathering Ardy! Thank you!

Graduation Getaway

This beautiful lakefront home is all that and a bag of chips. Spacious enough for 6 people to be very comfortable. And every detail has been thought out. Kitchen is very well appointed and no expense has been spared for all the accessories.Our family enjoyed morning coffee on the deck and nightly cocktails around the fire pit. Even in the chilly temps we were able to warm our hearts reminiscing about past family vacations. Hope to visit again and get to use the kayaks.

Outstanding Home On Cayuga Lake

Our five night stay at this wonderful home on Cayuga Lake was outstanding. The property is clearly a 10! The home is beautifully decorated, well-equipped, extremely clean, and so comfortable. The views of the lake are truly spectacular. We loved the two-sided gas fireplace and living areas. The master bedroom, closet, and master bath are extremely spacious. The kitchen was well-stocked and had everything we needed. The welcome basket provided by the hosts was a wonderful added touch. The home is in a perfect location, close to Ithaca, state parks, and wineries. Ardys was very helpful and responded quickly to any questions we had. We would highly recommend this home and we look forward to returning in the future.

Perfect Lake Get-away

Had a perfect week! Ardys and her husband have a beautiful house and we were so pleased to be able to rent it for a week. Location was great and we loved being right on the water. Almost every evening was spent out back enjoying the view and peacefulness! We spent many hours fishing and using the kayaks provided to tour up and down the lake! Wonderful lake house

The house was in a great location - you can’t beat being right next to the water in a tastefully renovated and comfortable space, while also being within a very reasonable distance from all things Ithaca. The kitchen was well stocked, the main area a great place to hang out, and the bedrooms private and comfortable. As an added bonus, the hosts were very thoughtful and responsive! Thumbs up!

For someone with mobility issues this property would not work, but for anyone else this place is exceptional. With a beautiful layout that is thoughtfully furnished, immaculately clean, extremely well equipped, and ideally located both for convenience and aesthetics it met or exceeded all of our expectations. Our family group of nine, six adults and three small children, were very comfortably accommodated during our 3-day stay, which was thoroughly enjoyed by all. The wonderful memories we took home are priceless.

Perfect Thanksgiving get-away

This lovely lake home had absolutely everything our family of 4 needed for a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend. In addition to spectacular lake views, the kitchen was fully stocked with every pot, pan, appliance, serving bowl, etc that we needed for preparing and serving the meal. The gas fireplace and large sofa in the great room made for cozy evenings. The location is ideal—close to Ithaca but also just far enough away to feel like a retreat. Ardys and Mark were such thoughtful hosts—every detail had been thought out, from leaving outdoor lights on for our nighttime arrival, to providing a welcome basket with dish soap, laundry detergent, toiletries, etc., to checking in every couple of days to see if we needed anything. Can’t wait to visit again soon!

Amazing Home

Simply an amazing property that exceeded our expectations. Location is unbelievable and the home itself is beautiful, clean and well appointed. Master bedroom provides incredible sunrise views overlooking the lake and an awesome master bathroom. Plenty of board games to keep the family busy along with kayaks and a paddle board to explore the lake. Fishing right from the backyard of the property was a bonus. Went on a number of day hikes to local trails and spent an afternoon visiting some of the nearby vineyards. Owners were top notch and extremely professional to deal with, not to mention very responsive. I highly recommend this property and would stay here again if ever back in the area.

Lake side Gem!

Beautiful setting, with a well appointed home in style, comfort and flow! With so many details were attended to, it made everyone in our group feel welcomed. - Beddings, kitchen equipment and essentials, laundry supplies, information about the house & on local options, and a welcome basket of items travelers may need. The view from every window, patio, deck is stunning! In such close proximity to the water, the upper floors can feel like the deck of a ship. Parking was easy for 3 cars, but... The drive down takes a steady hand, and the stairs are no joke- safe and manageable, but need attention, especially when there's a bit of frost or ice. Owners were readily available and accommodating. Enjoy!

Amazing house!

Ardys house was so nice! Everything was exactly as it is in the pictures. There are a bunch of stairs you need to go up and down to get to and from the house. You will see those in the pictures provided. We used the kayaks on the lake, which was awesome. We hung out on the porch and had amazing views of Cayuga Lake. The neighbor was quiet and private in November. Highly recommend this vrbo.

Gorgeous Cayuga Lake House

Beautiful Lake House with spectacular views from every room. Spacious Accommodations are perfect for family gatherings. The entire home is outfitted with more than you’ll need. Ardys, the host , was always available and extremely easy to communicate with.
