"Really well equipped house with beautiful surroundings. After clear instructions of how to arrive and check in we felt warmly welcomed with fresh flowers and some chocolates from Oban. Plenty of lovely walks nearby, but the house was also a great place to use as a base to explore wider, from a trip to Oban (picking up more chocolates!) to a walk up Ben Cruachan. We’d love to stay again and continue to explore. Huge thanks to Fiona and Andy for being such great hosts!!"

"We loved it! Great views, ever changing. Walking opportunities, beautiful area, landscapes are amazing. Helpful owners, loved the chickens walking round. In the evening we made short trips by car to see the deer. The sheep with there lambs were a joy to see (drive carefully!). The house has everything you need, for a longer stay a washing machine would be helpful. We will be back for another stay!"

"If you could use a respite from a hectic life or packed vacation or - well, from anything, actually - and if your idea of a "respite" is fresh air, gracious hosts, adorable farm animals, friendly dogs and a clean, cozy cottage, I can't imagine you'd do any better than this. It has it all, plus country walks and reasonable* proximity to points of interest and delicious seafood. The cottage is fully equipped with modern conveniences but will make you feel a world away. "This is an ideal apartment for friends or a family wishing to explore the Oban area. Well equipped, comfortable and beside the sea front, shops, cafes, railway, bus stations and ferry terminal. Supermarkets close by. All set in the most glorious location with so much to see."

"Lovely spacious flat , right in the heart of the town ,beautiful views over the harbour. Parking was very convenient. Even though the weather was not brilliant , it was easy to get around and make the most of our stay .Ferries ,trains and buses on the doorstep."

"Particularly enjoyed the spaciousness and comfort of the accommodation. The maps for walks in and around the estate were an unexpected bonus, which was taken full advantage of. A surprising coincidental connection to the estate owner. The flapjacks were the best we'd ever tasted (recipe?)! The only disappointment was the DVD/CD player incompatible with the TV/sound system, so were unable to enjoy the music and movies we'd brought. Otherwise, a well deserved 5 stars!"

"Tucked away at the top of the village this little cottage was comfortable and had a very well equipped kitchen. The pictures don't do it justice, it's great place. A lovely walk to Kilmartin (20 minutes if you find an overgrown shortcut through the back wood). My top tip, take birdseed for the feeders and breakfast becomes a fantastic show of local birdlife."

"We stayed in the cottage 24 years ago and loved it. It has not changed much. This is the charm of the place. The cottage is situated in a quiet setting on Loch Sunart and after exploring all day was a nice place to relax and unwind. Our host Charlie was great. We had a water issue and it was handled straight away. I hope to return soon. A week was to short."

"We absolutely loved this cottage, peaceful location with stunning views of a 13th Century castle with hens, deer and bird life in your 'front garden'. Very clean and wonderful walks to the loch through woodland. Aldo great location to reach other parts of this wonderful isle of Mull. Richard and Kirsty are also are brilliant hosts. We're planning a return next year."

"We really enjoyed our stay here. The house was very roomy and comfortable. The beds were extrememly comfortable and we loved hanging out in the living room area watching the storms outside. The view is gorgeous. It was really nice having a washer and dryer and also being able to turn the heater on as needed. The only issue we had was with the kitchen stove. It worked great the first couple days but ran out of propane. After we changed it, it had issues until we left. Hopefully the host will get...
