The host was kind and very responsive. The cabin is beautiful. It was perfect for our family of 4 children and 4 adults. We stayed at Christmas time. We purchased the option for a decorated Christmas tree and a wreath. It was very festive. Everything was clean and well stocked. Check in and Check out was very easy. There were plenty of games and entertainment for the children ages 6-12. They enjoyed the snow outside also. Just one caveat - we came at Christmas time when there was unusual warm spells with rain along with cold snowy weather. We needed (and had) a four wheel drive to get from the main highway into the subdivision and at the house. The entance deck had been shovelled but snow had fallen off the roof and we still had to shovel. The front door is toward the back; no access through the garage, so walking back on the snowy sidewalk and the gravel driveway could be slippery. This is because it rained and then snowed. The weather conditions this year were not normal. We would definitely come back again if we needed a place to stay here. HIghly recommend.

Back to Yellowstone

After 32 years, my children as adults wanted to go back for our family vacation. So we traveled cross country. The house was perfect for our family. It was a short drive to West Yellowstone and the West gate into Yellowstone.

We have a wonderful stay in the cabin for 6 days while visiting Yellowstone and Granda Teton National Parks. The cabin is very roomy and comfortable for 8 adults. Location is super convenient too. We will definitely consider staying in Two Mile Cabin for our next visit in the area.

Fun getaway

We enjoyed getting to see some wildlife while sipping coffee on the porch. It was a short drive to West Yellowstone for easy access to the park. Spacious parking for vehicles.

Had a great stay

Had a great stay at the cabin. Easy to find, easy to check in, and clean. My family and I were very comfortable. I was able to cook some dinner there and it was close to the entrance at Yellowstone which a lot of our time was spent. Would recommend!

Better than camping but be prepared

Super nice property owners, they even took the time to help us plan our visit with Yellowstone. We had a few issues we would like to see addressed for future guests. There was a mice problem which they knew about because the place was loaded with traps. Two mice presented themselves at awkward times during our stay. The oven leaks gas even while cooking so house and cooked food smells like gas. One of the beds had stained sheets with urine. They appeared washed but huge stains. Potentially moldy smell downstairs. We survived and had a positive experience, its better than camping but hopefully they fix the issues for the next guests.

Two Mile Cabin with MOUSE

The property was very nice. the problem was the MOUSE . Saw it on our first night at dinner in the kitchen Called the emergency contact the next day which was a Sunday. He said an exterminator would come out the next day - Monday No one ever came during our 5 day stay.! We had to keep all the food in the refrigerator to prevent possible contamination. Put towels under our doors to feel somewhat safe from the mouse at night We found mouse traps in the bottom floor so the management company knew they were there. We needed to be warned first before we would stay at a place like this due to the safety of my grandkids and adults. We would not have stayed - We should have gotten a discount or had our money returned The house is nice without a mouse. The last night there I saw a mouse go under the chair in the living room near where our grandkids were. I spoke to the management company during our stay which was hard as we were at Yellowstone all day without cell service. But when reached, they knew about the mouse issue but did not seem it was any big problem The property would have been great without the MOUSE probably many mice

Everything worked out great. Place was perfectly located to snow mobile. Only thing was the walks could have been shoveled as there was two feet of snow to walk through which made the mud room a bit of a mess.

Yellowstone/Teton Vaca

I don’t give compliments easily but 2 Mile Cabin exceeded my expectations. I’ve been renting properties for decades across the country and this property was the cleanest ever. The appliances are high end, large kitchen, plenty of decks, spectacular views and a hot water heater that never failed a large family. We rented off season but lots of good restaurants nearby (Buffalo Bar) and superb boxed lunches from Ernies. And the park is only 20 minutes away. Moreover, the owners went out of their way to help us retrieve a “left behind” item. Very grateful. We will definitely rent 2 Mile again.

Great property, great location

I was slightly disappointed when we first pulled up because it looked smaller than I thought from the outside - but it was incredibly spacious on the inside. So all of the pictures were accurate and for the 7 of us, it was more than enough space. Also, I appreciate the owners reaching out to us directly to let us know about recent bear activity. We were pretty prepared before we got there, but it was very nice of them to contact us. A couple of minor hiccups like the TV didn't work, but it turned out to be nice because we were there for Yellowstone for a week anyway. And we so tired coming back each day that it didn't matter. Also, the owners offered to come over and fix it and tried - for some reason it didn't work. But again, it actually worked out and the fact that they tried was very nice. Of course, the foosball and mini-pool table were the biggest hit with our two kids. Very spacious. Great location. Very responsive and helpful owners. And a professional management company that gave us all of the info ahead of time. We had a blast and would recommend it to anyone!

Comfortable space with a great location

Our experience at this property was mostly positive. The property had many offerings including several cans of bear spray, condiments, variety of pots and pans and two coffee makers. The beds and living room furniture were very comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this location. For improvements we would recommend mowing more frequently, fixing the railing on the front deck and more options for seating around the fire pit.
