Gorgeous Cabin Close to Lake Near Yellowstone!★★★★★

Whispering Pines is a beautiful private cabin surrounded by gorgeous lodge pole pine trees.  Nestled in a gated community with just about every possible outdoor activity you can name at your fingertips.  Just 40 minutes from Yellowstone National Park.  
The cabin is immaculate and built with class.  Aspen paneling and hand scraped hickory flooring throughout. Cathedral ceilings. 3 beautiful stone fireplaces and 3 sets of french doors opening out to the gorgeous view of Bill's Island.
Summertime is amazing in Island Park.  The cabin is within walking distance of Island Park Reservoir.  Beaches, boating, swimming and more within a stone's throw of the property.   ATV trails everywhere departing directly from the cabin.  Henry's Fork is just minutes away with world class Fly Fishing.  Rock Climbing, Horseback Riding, and more are available.  
Wintertime in island park is unforgettable.  Snowmobile right from the front door out to our top rated network of over 950 miles of groomed trails including the renowned Two Top Mountain. Something for any riding style.  Snow Shoeing, Cross Country Skiing, Ice Fishing within walking distance of the cabin and more.  
Perfect for any group large or small.  3500 square feet, 5 private bedrooms, 4 bathrooms and plenty of space to lounge around and enjoy your get away.  The theater room is amazing as well.  The cabin also has a beautiful kitchen, plus an additional kitchenette/wet bar.  Cabin sleeps 15+

The house was clean, easy to access, fair price and the host was great. The issue we had was the host was made aware the front door lock didn’t work prior to us arriving and didn’t fix or at the least, make us aware that it was broken. They did answer their phone quickly to get us in.

Excellent Vacation!

The cabin was very clean and large enough comfortably facilitate my entire family. Very close to Yellowstone park! Island Park is a beautiful location. We also enjoyed the all day ATV rental.

A relaxing and beautiful cabin! Plenty of space - including a basement with movie room, 2 bunk beds, and bathroom. Loved making s’mores in the fire pit! We will be back!!

Beautiful Facility

We had an enjoyable stay. Other than some trouble with key cards and the smoke detectors going off one night (no fire) everything was great. The hosts were very easy to reach with our questions, problems! We would recommend it!

Beautiful Cabin but...

The cabin is beautiful and just as depicted. It comfortably sleeps 6 adults and the 4 full bathrooms are a definite plus. Unfortunately, the check in instructions and process were completely wrong - no lock box on the gate entering the gated community so therefore no access key. Every couple had to call the property manager to have the gate opened. There was one access key inside the house as indicated; however, there were three couples needing either a code that worked or an access key so we could do exploring on our own. The ignition switch on the grill did not work and we had to go purchase a fire stick in order to use the grill. There were only 3 dishwasher soap pods and we also had to go purchase pods for the remainder of our stay there. Lastly, the night stands in two of the bedrooms were so dusty you could write your name on them and had to be cleaned before we could comfortably stay in the rooms. It seems that the property managers are doing a poor job of maintaining this lovely cabin for visitors.

First time ever visiting area

For not knowing the area, we were pleased! The house was well stocked and enough room, bathrooms and hot water for all of us! Our first morning while having coffee on the front porch, we saw a moose and her baby which was a great way to start the trip!

Perfect cabin!

Our first trip to Yellowstone and this cabin was perfect for our family. Great location for a casual time between Yellowstone days to relax and explore Idaho. The cabin had everything we needed with a well stocked kitchen of all the extras. Bedrooms and bathrooms were accommodating. Fire pit was great to have for a night of s’mores. Communication with the owners was easy and detailed. If we ever find ourselves up here again, we would definitely rebook.

Perfect house for our group

This house was perfect for our family of 7. Lots of space and fully stocked with everything we needed. The location is beautiful. The first night of our stay we were able to watch the eclipse over the lake. It's quiet and beautiful and only 45 min drive to the West Yellowstone gate. We would definitely stay here again.

Amazing cabin and hosts!

We stayed over Thanksgiving weekend and enjoyed it soo much!! Jennie was awesome to work with through booking the process and with any questions I had. I can’t say enough about how perfect the cabin was for our family. Beautiful rooms and fireplaces., All the rooms had their own temperature controls. If we could have stayed forever, we would! :) we will definitely be back! ❤️
