Come enjoy our family little get away in the mountains . Vintage mobile home where my family made lasting memories is now available to share with your family. is in the perfect setting for your family. We are only 30 min from the west gate of Yellowstone National Park.

Enjoy the firepit with roasting sticks, swings, trails, walking in the mountains with the sound of the trees and birds. There is fast WiFi for catching up with work or streaming tv. Portable swamp cooler for the few hot days we have. Only 30 min 30 min from Yellowstone. Great family


3 large bedrooms plus hide a bed. Full furnished kitchen. The best place for a family get away without breaking the bank. If you expect a 5 star hotel this is not for you. If you want to build family memories without breaking the bank this is perfect .


Come float the river from big springs to Mack's inn and county the number of moose you see in the river.
Snowmobile the 100s of miles of groomed trails or play I;the deep powder snow. Fish are jumping just waiting for you line and hook in the fabulous fishing destination known world wide.


I am licensed by the county for 8 people only. Please do not go over that. I will get in trouble with the county. We are high in the mountains. Plan for snow, rain, mud, and the heat . We never know what to expect. There is plenty of parking for all your toys.


Sometimes coming to a new place is difficult to explore on your own. We are just down the street and can help with the local area if you need it. There is also a book in the home with local suggestions. Close to Yellowstone National Park. Grand Teton National Park island park and Henry’s lake,


There is no public transportation here. But we have tons of parking for all your cars Groceries are few and expensive in the area. Get them before you head up the hill. There are a few restaurants nearby for your convenience. The air conditioner is a portable swamp cooler. We normally do not need it as we do not get that warm and evenings can be rather chilly all year round, I do stick with the cancellation policy so I do suggest travel insurance if you are concerned.

This property is not a cabin; it's a trailer, but it worked well for our group of six. Miriam was incredibly responsive, getting back to us within minutes. I would definitely stay here again; it's only 30 minutes from West Yellowstone. Overall, a good experience!

Loved it!

This trailer was exactly what we needed in every way. Our host and her husband were amazing. The kitchen is well stocked with appliances, the property is very clean. If you are an outdoor enthusiest, you are sitting in the pine trees and not too far in any direction are off road trails to explore, water to swim in, mountains to get to the top of. You are not too far from West Yellowstone if that is interesting to you. Can't wait to come back!

Great stay on our trip to Yellowstone

Enjoyed our stay there. Place was neat and very quaint. Had to negotiate the hot water for 5 adults taking showers, but we managed ok. Nice deck around trailer for eating outdoors.

Stop to Yellowstone

The owners were quick to respond to my questions and even brought us more wood for the fire pit! This was the perfect property for our kids to stretch their legs, play, and cook s'mores!

Nice little trailer home. Clean, well stocked. Only complaint would be absence of dish cloths and dish towels. Need to bring your own paper dish ware. Beautiful, quiet setting.

Plenty of space. Comfortable beds. Great fire pit and porch area wish we had time to use them. Kitchen had what we needed. Washer and drier were handy. Quiet area. Speed limit of 10 mph keeps dust and noise down. Circle drive easy to get in and out. Nice to have wifi and cell connection. Communication with owners easy and friendly. Owner can sleep 30 in that area for larger groups. I would stay here again.

Life goals!

We loved this stay! It was just what we needed and even a bit extra! We came with 5 children (one was a 2 year old) and we would have loved to stay another day or two. On our last evening, we enjoyed dinner outside and decided that this "cabin in the woods thing" needed to be one of our life goals. So relaxing, so nice to hear the wind thru the trees, so calming to have everything you need and a wonderful outdoor space. We would recommend Grandma's Cabin to anyone!

Clean and roomy inside. The outside deck and seating were covered in pollen though.

The renting was easy, was able to communicate with owner to ask questions. Directions could have been better, more detailed.

Homey place to relax!

Property is older but everything was clean and comfortable and had everything you might need. The kitchen was very well stocked! Rod and Marian even came by right after we arrived to invite us to see a mama moose and her twin babies!

Owner was friendly and property was clean

The only problem we had was that there were two bathrooms advertised but there was really only one bathroom...so showers and hot water were an issue...there was a nice fire pit , comfortable beds and linen provided.

Perfect hideaway in the woods.

We had a very peaceful and restorative stay in Grannies place. The beds are comfy, the kitchen well appointed with the items one needs to throw together meals on vacation. The grill, patio space and fire pit just completed our stay even though it rained more than we would have liked. The entire home was spotless and the hosts super friendly. Oh, and the washer and tumble dryer are full sized. Of note. The water pressure in the shower is utterly amazing but in order to avoid flooding the immediate area only turn it to about 1/2 its full flow. All in all we would go back and stay in a heartbeat!
