Es el lugar más bonito en el que me he hospedado en Isla M. La vista es increíble, disfrutamos deli el jacuzzi y el personal súper chido buena onda y amables. Bella mar me regalo momentos inolvidables. Gracias gracias gracias !

The location and views of this property are absolutely amazing, as the hotel sits on a 20 foot cliff Oceanside so you have constant breezes. You can climb down the rocks and get in the ocean and if it’s not too windy, you can get in the water as it is a rocky area. Online pics are likely old when the previous owner was operating it, it has substantial wear and tear and needs some love:) Shared kitchen is ill equipped, we bought a coffee maker for our large group of 10. The AC seemed to work fine in all the rooms, although temps were mild 82 was the high, and we opened our large windows at night and did not use the AC. Our rooms were clean, but we had to maintain them on our own. There were no staff present during the day to do any room housekeeping. Manager was available & fairly responsive via text. One staff was present 9 to 5, he spent the entire day on his phone, sweeping sand off the decks areas and occasionally dropping chemicals in the pool. He did empty the trash from the common areas before he left in the late afternoon. He was under utilized and could be doing so much more to bring that place up to where it was. The pool was pretty cloudy the entire eight day stay and we addressed this concern with the manager, he said they shocked it, which I’m not positive about:( they are obviously on a shoestring budget by all appearances. It would be nice if they had on-site manager that lived in the apartment and then it could be properly cared for & maintained

This house is wonderful. The view of the waves is amazing. The property is clean. The kitchen supplies were underwhelming but adequate. The coffee pot wasn’t working so we bought a new one. Microwave didn’t quite heat up so we just use the stove top. We had planned on eating out most meals anyways so many great local restaurants nearby. And the best of all is Camelo the local dog that’s been his days at this house. 13 out of 10 for sure!!!
Every room has a spot in the fridge.

We absolutely loved our stay here. The staff is amazing! Tito the concierge was truly wonderful! The communication was great! There is a dog Conelo, who is the sweetest pup and I already miss him!! I truly enjoyed our stay here and we will be back!!!

This was a diamond in the ruff...that needs some TLC. I'm not really sure the back story but this is a 'no frills' stay. The rooms have n o drinking water or coffee makers, instead you get a shared kitchen with refrigerator space. At first, we thought this was a little unusual but there's a store half a block away and a coffee shop next door. The room was super clean and cozy. There is A/C and good WiFi but no TV. The property is really special and this is why I give this a high score. The pool is awesome - it is not chlorinated but it's very clean. The pool and beach chairs are in need of TLC and the could use some shade but all in all you can get comfortable with stealing cushions from chairs to make the old beach chairs work. The property is very well maintained and the staff was very responsive when we had questions. Since the hotel was recently sold - I believe the new owners are building a large project across the street and will either tear this hotel down or renovate this great place. A lot of building will be happening so, I don't know what the future we be like when it comes to tranquility.

The room was perfect, clean, and spacious. Just what the photos showed and the bed was very comfortable. Staff though, was non-existent. We never figured out your internet as the code didn't work. Also, the hot tub was not hot and we could not find anyone to turn the heat on. Repeated messages to the hotel got no response. We did not find out until halfway through our stay that there was a communal kitchen with a refrigerator, microwave, coffee pot, toaster, and pots and pans for cooking. The grounds were classy and well kept. Good food was just a short walk away. Our favorite was the Isla Village for dinner with enjoyable live music. And breakfast at the Mango Cafe.

I am a solo female traveler. I felt very safe. I even walked by myself to the center without any concerns. Gabriel, help me arrange my transportation and she would check on my to make sure everything safe and good. I am very grateful. This stay would be much better if there were a coffee stand. There is a coffee place near, but it would be closed by 2 pm. Oh, the room was supper clear and nice. too. The bed is a swing bed. I move around a lot when I sleep. That was the only annoying thing. But I would book it again.

We were contacted prior to our departure incase we need any assistance, we requested for an early check in which was accommodated. The staffs were really kind and the property is well kept. Gaby made our trip feel like a breeze, she checked on us time to time, gave recommendations, arranged taxis as well. And the views from the property is breathtaking. Overall we had a phenomenal stay.

What a gem! The shared kitchen between the 6 suites was great. We loved the pool, the sound of the ocean and watching the frigatbirds and pelicans. The room had a very comfortable bed, great AC, wifi and a cool shell shower. No TV, and we did not need it as we had ocean views. Gabriela welcomed us and was an excellent host. Thank you for thw great 6 days!

This property is very private and quiet, the staff keeps it very clean. Our deluxe room had a very comfortable bed, and the A/C worked great. Here's what they don't tell you; Although this is an Ocean front property, there isn't easy access to the beach. There isn't TV available On the Island you can't flush toilet paper There are two very friendly dogs that have the run of the property, and at night they tend to bark a lot, all night. There isn't any room cleaning, change of linens, or towels. They don't furnish a real beach towel. No Fridge in the room, communal kitchen, we needed to go downstairs every time we wanted something from the fridge. The patio door to our balcony was very difficult to open, my wife wasn't able to open it on her own. I mentioned it to lady who manages the place, and offered to fix it if she could give me some WD-40, she just smiled and never did anything. Also if you are driving a golf cart there are only 2 spots for golf carts, and if they're taken you need to park across the street, no one ever told us that, we had to figure that out on our own. I don't think we will stay there in the future.

One of the downsides of this property is they do NOT furnish water anywhere on the property...you must furnish your own...the old restaurant kitchen is shared to use amongst 7 rooms...one big fridge...for the price they charge for these beautiful rooms they should include fresh water jugs on tap & a mini fridge in ea room...it was alot of steps to get from the 2nd level to the kitchen for something cold to drink/eat The pool/hotub lovely...very clean everywhere...Spectacular views of ocean🙂

Clean, relaxing, great stay

Originally stopped by this spot last year because of the ice cold beer signs and they had a full bar and restaurant with an incredible view and essentially private beach (rare find this side of the island). So I chose to stay here as a romantic/relaxing stay. This place is very well taken care of and the rooms are nice and clean. I stayed in the Deluxe Double Room, Partial Ocean View. The pool was cold and clean and the hot tub was warm (not too hot). The landscape was well maintained and the area had good restaurants walking distance away. Overall, I had a great relaxing time and would stay again. FYI, it's now an airbnb, so there's no more bar/restaurant but there is a shared kitchen so you can load up on beers/drinks and cook there if you want. Otherwise, 1 minute walk down the street is a sushi, breakfast/lunch/dinner/bar set up (and massage). Pro Tip: if you want to eat at Rosa Sirenas, make a reservation or you likely wont get sat. Didn't go, but heard great things. And check out Fuego de Mar. One our better meals of the trip and it's about 5 minutes walk.

This was our first time visit to Isla . Room was very clean . Having a broom would be a nice extra (tacking the sand in the room) . The view was amazing. Hot tub was nice and warm , pool was great after the walking in the sun. Friendly staff. We can’t wait for our next trip. Having the communal kitchen was a nice plus.
