"We had a room with two beds, which were in separate rooms divided by a door so that was a pleasant surprise. Eat breakfast in the morning was delicious and served promptly to order. The area around the hotel is a little older, but not a significant concern all in all we had a great stay!"

"If we could give the front staff 10 stars we would. They were kind and had such a great sense of humour. We heard the staff deal with unbelievable rude and entitled “guests” with grace and much patience than I ever could have. Rooms were clean and quiet. "

"The bed and pillows were comfortable. The bathroom looks recently renovated. It’s close to Townsite Brewing which had some of the best beer I have tried in a very long time! Close to food as well! Definitely recommend! "

"The hotel has great character but no breakfast available due to location (can't get the staff). Feels like there are many empty rooms. Some areas blocked off. If you like heritage sites and genuine antique fixtures and fittings, you'll enjoy this hotel. I don't think it is haunted!"

"It's a very affordable option for someone looking to get away with minimal planning. There wasn't a lot of locks on the door, which to me indicates that there are never really any issues for theft there. Bed was comfy, and the air conditioner was really effective at cooling the room down. Conviently right next to a gas station and a liquor store (if you're into that). Good place to flop out and relax after a day of exploring campbell river. "

"This hotel was my favourite of the four we stayed at on Vancouver Island. It was in a good location, room was large and amenities and cleanliness were superb!"

"Lovely hotel in a great location. Beautiful views of Discovery Passage from the front rooms. Rooms were huge, more than enough space for a family of 3. Pool was great. Staff were very friendly. Only slight criticism was the random per night charge for the child’s bed which we assumed would be included given we booked for the family but that was resolved swiftly. Ample parking. Probably a little far to be considered walking distance in to Campbell River but still a great location. "

"i had such a pleasant experience during my stay here, the room was clean and comfortable with everything needed. what made my stay here exceptional was the staff. the accommodated my partner and i so thoroughly and kindly. the service we received was so above and beyond and it made our stay so much better than we expected. thank you to the staff for all of their help and kindness."

"The mattress was lovely and I got good nights’ sleep. Parking was excellent. Location is right on a main thoroughfare but nonetheless quiet. Staff is friendly and helpful. Kitchenette was adequately stocked; fridge, freezer, microwave all worked well. I didn’t try the stove and oven but they appeared to be in excellent condition. Altogether an ideal place to stay."

"Very impressed on entry to the hotel, good breakfast and friendly staff. Perfect position in Campbell River, ten minute walk to our main aim, Big Animal Encounters. A great hotel for a visit to the area."
