The apartment was spotless, newly remodeled, and a really great place to stay at a much lower price than the Marquette or Munising areas. We will definitely stay there again, however, the only critique is that the beds are very very firm… so be forewarned. The couch is a small futon and not very comfortable either, however, by folding it down and adding pillows from the beds, we were able to make it comfortable in order to decompress from a day of hiking. There is a lovely farm to table, gluten free and vegan friendly restaurant within a block walking distance, and it’s just a short ride into Marquette. I recommend this rental.

We arrived late in the evening (shortly before midnight) and we encountered a problem with the rental. After messaging the hosts via VRBO and leaving a voice message we didn't expect to hear from them until morning, but they responded almost immediately and remedied the problem. We appreciated their responsiveness. With that aside, the property was perfect for an our weekend trip to visit our student at NMU. The beds and bedding were comfortable, the kitchen had everything we needed and the shower was heavenly (one of the best of all the properties we have rented in the past decade). We loved the bright, colorful local themed artwork throughout the unit. The town seems very safe and quiet. Highly recommend this rental.

I was impressed with how clean the place was. The mattresses were comfortably firm. Kitchen is large. Shower head has a lot of pressure, though a little awkward. We did not hang out in the place much, but it was nice when we came in for the night.

Staying in Ipsheming was affordable and convenient for riding the Mountain Bike Trails in Marquette. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking our meals. The beds were comfortable. Great hot water in the shower. The only negative was that the couch and chairs were not comfortable for sitting and relaxing in the evening.

The apartment was a great place for us to base our vacation out of. Cute, very clean and well stocked! My only two suggestions are more comfortable seating in the living area (the futon/couch and barrel chairs are not very comfortable at all) and possibly patio chairs for sitting out on the front porch. All in all a great place for a great price and we would stay here again.

Very clean and easy to access property. Close and easy access to houghton. Very quiet and close to conveniences (gas/groceries). The wifi was fast enough for us to stream and use several devices at the same time. Property owner was quick to respond.

Very clean and quiet. Completely happy with our entire experience. Only con was the uncomfortable couch in the living room. After a long day of hiking and driving a comfy couch and a movie we’re in order. Good movie, un comfy couch 🙁

This was my first time doing this Vrbo thing. A friend and I came up to help with the LSPR car rally. I had a few questions that were pretty stupid, i'm a rookie, and the owners responding very quickly and never made me feel weird about the obviously already answered questions. We arrived to find the house felt like a home away from home. I wondered if the owners had stalked me (i know they didnt). Because when I walked in the art work on the walls were like i'd have at home. Yep, hiked that island, I hiked those cliffs, yep I ride a bike. (guess you will need to stay here to understand that) The place was great. My friend walked into the bathroom to check it out. I think he would give that super cool shower a 10 star rating! So as with all reviews you just have to find one negative thing, I had to search deep to find one. I'd say it was parking, I still give that 5 stars. We were up to do medical at the rally, and photography. We had 4 medical bags, probably 6 camera bags, and our suit cases. Just once when parking the front street was full so we had to park in the back. Not a big deal at all really, we just had to walk an extra 20 yards a few times. This issue would not make me so much as hesitate to stay here again. Actually once we have next years rally dates solidified i will sign up to stay here again. Oh, if your in the area and need pizza - Congress Pizza is the place to go. Thank you so much for letting us feel at home while 8 hours from home! See you next year!

Perfect place to get away and recharge. Only complaints I have are that a porch light would have been helpful since it was pretty dark when I arrived and there wasn’t anything to tell me what the check-out process was (didn’t know of I should strip the beds, bag up the trash, etc.). Other than that, it was exactly what I needed for a few days.
