"The owners were friendly and helpful, but the notices in the bedroom were made us feel "threatened"e.g an envelope worded to give a tip to the housekeeper who we never saw/ 3 towels with a notice that they were not to be used for bathing..why were they there?/ notice for the fee for damages to towels ..the one for 1bathtowel would pay for all decent towels in the room . I would not stay here again."

"We very much enjoyed our stay. The location was close to Ski Brule and town. It was easy to find and came with lots of helpful extras, such a a high chair, pack n’ play and extra blanket. The kitchen was fully stocked, including a set of bottles and kids dishes. It was clean, the beds were cozy and the garage was a great perk as a big snowstorm hit while we were there. Would highly recommend this place to couples or families."

"We were very happy with our stay at the Nordic Haus. Check in and out was very easy. It’s nice to have a hot tub to soak in and gives the kids something to do at night because skiing closes by 4pm. The only thing was it says it’s 6 bedroom but it’s only 5 bedroom and then has two beds in the loft. The loft is basically part of the living room so we couldn’t have anyone sleep in those beds or they would be kept awake at night by the noise and then woke up early with any early risers making coffee...

"You can tell someone put some serious thought into what makes guests comfortable in this rental. The property was super clean, well maintained and had every convenience I could have asked for. The patio area and is great too. Comfortable chairs, a grill and fire pit. We were even able to see a small buck walking through the adjacent field. Highly recommended and will definitely book if I’m in the area again."

"I highly recommend this beautiful home for your family get-away. The pictures do not do it justice. We stayed with our 5 young adults (age 16-22) and the layout of the house was perfect. "We had a fun stay at the Ice House. Very spacious and cute. Beautiful view of the lake. However, It was hard to tell where the driveway was because it was not plowed until the next day. "Great location, near Ski Brule - 10 minute walk or 2 minute drive. The house worked out well for me and my extended family. We rented the upper and lower units. It was very clean and had everything we needed to make meals. It was also nice to have two fridges. We would definitely stay here again!"

"Spent spring break here with our kids - 9 and 12 - and dog. Cabin was perfect - our kids didnt want to leave. Nice main room to eat and play games or lounge on the couches, then each had own room for down time. Easy drive to town for meals and just minutes from Ski Brule - we caught the last weekend. Great views of Stanley lake from the house. We would come back here every season of the year, it would be great to enjoy the lake too when its warm."

"We had a great time, the house was very comfortable for two families with teens, it was great to have 2 separate living rooms to hang out in. The house is conveniently close to Ski Brule, where the kids had a wonderful time. It was the only ski resort in the midwest open this Christmas and we were happy to discover that it’s a great place to ski!"

"The stay was great. We had all the amenities required to support our family during our time at Ski Brule. I would highly recommend this location. I imagine during the summer months this would be a great get away as well. The only complaint I have is that the GPS pin in the app doesn't coincide with the actual address of the cabin, so I did have to call and confirm the address, so other than that it was wonderful."

"My family had a wonderful time at Ron's log cabin. It is very much secluded and relaxing. We brought our 2 dogs and they loved it. We spent time fishing, kayaking, and hanging out on the beautiful porch. It was a great time!"
