One-night stay

Steve was lovely very friendly and couldn't do enough. Very good breakfast and dining room nice. Sorry but the bedroom let you down! Feel it does need updating or at least freshening up. Doesn't have to be ultra-modern just lighter with basic furniture. Did have a good shower but en-suite not too clean.

Very homely

Very accommodating around my work schedule. Weather was really nice, so sat out in the back garden in the evenings. Nice, quiet and comfortable!

Very helpful and obliging owner. Just be aware there are cats, they don't cause a problem but as a lot of people are allergic to cats it may be putting something on the website before booking rather than finding out as you arrive!

Cranmoore Visit

The location is well situated in Ipswich and amenities are in walking distance. Steve is a great host and offers a good breakfast. I recommend Cranmoor House.

Great room and great service. Steve went out his way to accomodate our extra requirements because of our unsocial work hours.

Lovely owner with a warm welcome.

I feel really bad for criticising this B and B as the owner was lovely and the price was excellent. However, the room was dusty, mirrors dirty and we had to ask for lightbulbs to be replaced.

Gemütliche Pension mit 2 Zimmern in Zentrumsnähe

Wir wurden von dem Eigentümer Steve sehr freundlich empfangen und gut betreut. Als gelernter Koch servierte er uns ein köstliches British Breakfast mit Toast, Tee, Kaffee, Saft, Marmelade und Müsli. Steve erklärte uns die Funktionen des im Nebenbau befindlichen speziellen Swimmingpools, das uns zu jeder Zeit zur Benutzung bereit stand. Hierbei handelt es sich um ein sogenanntes "Swim Spa", das mit Whirlpool-Düsen und einer stufenlos einstellbaren Gegenströmung ausgestattet ist. Somit ist das Schwimmen "auf der Stelle" möglich, als ob man in einem Fluss gegen die Strömung schwimmt, es hat sehr viel Spaß gemacht. Um die Ecke befindet sich eine sehr gute Bäckerei, aber ein Pub ist leider nicht in der Nähe.

Lovely place to stay

Steve was very welcoming room was clean and tidy. Not very central without car fifteen mi tea walk. aLthough bus at top is a street direct to town. Would stay again.

Fantastic Breakfast

The host was very helpful and provided valuable suggestions for the next stage of our trip. The ensuite was very nice, and the room contained everything we could have possibly needed and more. It was quiet, clean, and comfortable. The breakfast was outstanding.

Very comfortable

The boss Steve, was really helpful and hospitalable. Even made me an evening meal without me prebooking. Will stay again. It is on a main road so maybe not ideal for a very early not but very comfortable.

Value for money - useful for short stay

Three nights stay at the bed&breakfast with a 5 yr old child. Steve was very welcoming, helping with bags and bringing jug of milk to allow a cup of tea. Always a friendly guy.

Short break stay

We were made to feel very welcome and the room was very comfortable. We were given use of the spa pool which was very relaxing after a long days traveling. Breakfast was very nice with plenty of choice and I also enjoyed the fresh fruit. The B&B was situated within a short drive of the water front and the city centre to find places for an evening meal.

A wonderful high quality B&B

I was bowled over by the quality of this home based B&B. The twin room was stunning with lots of attractive decor points. There were two comfortable leather armchairs to make a seating area in front of the TV. The ensuite shower room was small but adequate and very well appointed, just like the bedroom and the whole house. The owner was friendly and the breakfast delicious. There is off-street parking and it is about 15 minutes walk into the town on a flat level road. I highly recommend this B&B and I am fussy about where I stay.
