"Cozy home in excellent location in Old Homosassa. Super clean and well stocked. Especially enjoyed the light show on the front yard oak tree! Spent a lot of time at porch bar watching mullet jumping and heron wading. Went to the Homosassa Wildlife State Park, ate at the Freezer and took a river ride on the Island Girl Cruise… highly recommend all. We had a wonderful time! The space inside and out was awesome, especially the screened porch with tons of comfortable seating, bar, grill, and fridge. We spent the majority of our time, out there. "This was our second week-long stay at the lovely Dreamcatcher Cottage. The Cottage was just as expected: clean, comfortable, and peaceful, with considerate and thoughtful hosts nearby if needed to support our stay. We come to this area primarily to ride the Withlacoochie Trail on our tandem, and it is a short ride from the home to the Trail, about a half-mile. A shed is provided for bicycle storage. "Stayed 4/20 -4/25. The lake house was the perfect place for the two of us to relax and enjoy the Nature Coast of Florida. We watched wildlife from the dock and enjoyed the sunsets each evening. Windy days deterred us from using the canoe except for one quick outing. Nothing negative with the house except that which was already mentioned. "I actually wish this house had a few more Photos to share. It’s very clean, lots of light streaming in, the beds are very comfortable, nice bedding … Yes, it’s an older home. It’s not super fancy, but it’s in a great location - It’s kept up well and there was a lot of work put into the outside, which if you’re anything like us, that’s where you’re spending most of your time.
