"Such a great place to have a family reunion. We so loved the beautiful sunsets, the perfect cabin layout for being together and the very attentive host. The cabin was well stocked and met everyone’s needs perfectly. It was a lovely time as we were able to recall past memories of being at the beach as kids - and now create some new special memories too! We will definitely be back!"

"Second time staying here. My junior room was perfect for a solo stay. There is an area in the middle of the rooms for sitting under trees in colorful Adirondack chairs circled around a fire place. Everything I needed was there at Drifthaus. It also was esthetically pleasing. It worked well for my little dog. We could be at the beach in minutes. Walking distance. Jeff, the host, was quick to reply to my questions. Summary: I'd love to live here"

"My friend and I really enjoyed our stay! The property is beautiful with trees all around. Lots of privacy! The outdoor fireplace was where we spent most of our time! The accommodations were roomie and clean. Well worth it. We'll be back here again!"

"This was the perfect place for my family to use as a home base while we were staying in Port Elgin. The home was spotless, and had absolutely everything we needed - lots of towels and the kitchen had everything you could think of. Beds were comfortable! The amenities on the property were great! Mel & Rob were very helpful, accommodating and pleasant to chat with! Would love to come back again! "

"Fun and unusual cabin on the water with firepits, kayaks, a Jacuzzi, fireplace, fully stocked kitchen, and plenty of places to sleep. The layout is unusual, and the bathrooms are lacking - really only one full bath. We had great family times in the vaulted living room. The other "living space's" main feature was a queen bed and great skylights plus comfortable seating. There's a deck and a patio with an excellent propane grill. "The place is really nice, great for large family gatherings, great location and nice layout. The communication with the property manager was challenging. From check-in that was clunky and after checkout they waited two weeks to return my deposit saying there was damage but not communicating what was damaged. Ultimately my the deposit was return, because there was no damage. I would encourage folks to take pictures upon leaving to ensure no damage is reported that was not your responsibility."
