Very nice property, but completely unresponsive host. The place itself was great, but the hosting experience was extremely disappointing. I emailed the host several days before check-in to request instructions—no response. I contacted Expedia, who informed me that the host was unresponsive to them as well. They eventually provided me with his phone number. I called and left multiple voicemails—still no reply. The night before my trip, I called Expedia again, and thankfully they were able to send me the check-in details. Upon arrival, I encountered several issues. First, the digital thermostat had no instructions, making it difficult to adjust the temperature. Second, the heavily advertised 100-inch projector didn’t work—it required an Apple TV to function, with no option to connect a phone or watch live TV. Again, I reached out to the host via voicemail and email while at the property—no response. Lastly, the listing claimed tea was provided, but there was only a single tea bag in the box. Overall, this was one of the worst experiences I’ve had in terms of host responsiveness. It felt like the host simply didn’t care about guests. I would not book this property again.

Not really all the happy

Wasnt to happy tried to get in touch with owner no response back, need some repairs down and replace some light bulbs, front door lock doesnt work right said there was a key in the lock box there wasnt, got in but couldnt lock it so had to go out back patio, hottub filter looks really dirty and not sure when chlorine was used in it last, back yard could use some cleaning up of trees and branches also

Overall, did not live up to expectations

We had concerns before our stay, as it took over five days and multiple follow-ups to get a simple response about the hot tub's condition. The host finally confirmed it was working, but upon check-in, we found it dirty and in no condition for safe use, including uncleaned filters. This was the main reason for booking, and we couldn’t use it at all.The listing also mentioned amenities that were unavailable, including Netflix, Amazon Prime, complimentary coffee, popcorn with seasoning, and bottled water. Instead, guests must cast from their own devices, limited by their subscriptions. While these may seem minor, they were advertised and led to disappointment.The couch was in poor condition, so we had to cover it with a bed sheet to use it. Communication with the host was poor, with days between replies, and despite sharing our concerns, we haven’t received any response. We’re sharing this feedback with VRBO so other guests are informed.With attention to cleanliness, accurate listing details, and improved communication, this property could be a great stay.

Property was clean, private, and spacious. Listing mentioned a hot tub, which was present but could not be operated (either broken or missing key, not sure). Several attempts were made to reach the property owner after realizing hot tub did not work, but owner did not respond to further messages on Vrbo and sent phone calls to voicemail.

Nice place just kinda dirty

It was a nice cozy cottage. And was a nice Christmas getaway for our family. One thing we noticed was how it seemed like the floors, ceiling,livingroom rug ect were rather dirty . It just needed a good cleaning. No popcorn even though the online listing said unlimited popcorn . Otherwise a nice little rustic place.. we enjoyed the hot tub and the beds were quit comfy.
