  • Disfrute de la privacidad y las actividades de alojarse en un lago glaciar privado alimentado por manantiales en la región de Fox Chain of Lakes. A poco más de una hora de Chicago o Milwaukee. 4 acres con 150 pies de frente al lago y un muelle privado. Casa totalmente reformada en 2015.

    El lago Brandenburg es un lago privado, glacial, alimentado por manantiales. Aislado de la cadena principal de lagos Fox, cuenta con uno de los lagos más limpios de Illinois. Perfecto para nadar y pescar. El lago solo permite motores eléctricos, por lo que mantiene el agua inmaculada para la abundante vida silvestre.

    Todas las actividades de temporada; en invierno, disfrute de la pesca en hielo, los senderos de esquí de fondo de la cercana Volo Bog, pasear en trineo y acurrucarse frente al fuego con un libro.

    La casa es un gran nivel dividido de la década de 1950 que fue completamente renovado en 2015. Disfrute de una gran sala de estar, comedor, sala de chimenea y porche con mosquitero fuera de la cocina con vistas al lago. Cada ventana tiene una vista arbolada o al lago. La casa es de 2600 pies cuadrados, además tiene una configuración de garaje convertida adjunta para la recreación de 600 pies cuadrados y un porche de 300 pies cuadrados de la cocina.

    Se incluye el uso completo de la propiedad; incluyendo lago, muelle, porche, pozo de fuego, parrilla al aire libre, mesa de ping pong, dos kayaks para adultos, un kayak para niños, una tabla de paddle, juegos de mesa, chalecos salvavidas y tabla de paddle.     El establecimiento se encuentra a poca distancia a pie / esquí de fondo de Volo bog; un parque estatal de paseos marítimos y rutas de senderismo / esquí de fondo sobre "pantano tembloroso" único. Un gran centro natural que alberga festivales y programas a lo largo de las estaciones.

    Otras atracciones cercanas: Six Flags, Bristol Renaissance Fair, Wilmont ski mountain, Fox Chain of Lakes (alquiler de pontones, deportes acuáticos a motor y exploración).

    40 minutos al lago de Ginebra, que hace un gran viaje de medio día.

    El lago Brandenburg está a 1 hora y 20 minutos de Chicago en coche. O 8 minutos en auto desde la estación de tren de Fox Lake Metra. 1 hora de Milwaukee.

    Desde la casa se encuentra a 20 minutos a pie del parque estatal Volo bog. Corto viaje a la tienda de comestibles.

Ingleside 2025

This property is beautiful and our family had a wonderful stay. The lake is clean and the kids loved it. Fishing was good and the screened in porch is perfect for our 4 generation family stay.

Wonderful location for family vacations. We enjoyed a week with 4 generations of family from ages 2 - 91. The lake is beautiful and peaceful. The home is nicely decorated, clean and comfortable. The kids enjoyed boating, swimming and fishing. We missed our campfire in the evenings due to the 90-degree temperature, it was just too hot but perfect for a swim. There are many other activities close by that we also enjoyed, such as Stade's Farm, a go to every year to pick whatever is in season. Downtown Woodstock and McHenry Pop Up shops are worth the drive. We also enjoy the screened in porch for game nights and every meal. We'll be back again. Thanks, Cathy

Great Quiet Escape

This was our second time staying at the property and it was just as great as the first time. The property is private and a nice space to relax. The home and property are always cleans and in amazing shape! Love everything about this home and it is a nice place for families with small children to get away. Playing in swimming and beach area is a great way to spend a day with kids.

I think this was the most immaculate rental I have ever visited. We had our annual girls weekend here and very much enjoyed the screen porch and the view! The house was spacious and the host was very responsive. We had everything we needed and then some!

Beautiful Lake House!

This lake house is perfect for our family vacation and we have booked it twice now! Between the beach, dock for fishing, watercraft options, screened porch, and garage/rec room, we have non-stop fun! We are planning to book again next summer!

Summer Family Vacation

The property is beautiful and home is very comfortable; we lived on the screened in porch. The home is immaculate and the kitchen is well stocked and works well for our family for meal prep. The property, and lake provide a relaxing and fun vacation for our 4 generations.

4th of July Respite

Second time staying here. The place is beautiful in every way. Just a chance to gather with family and spend time with grandchildren away from everyday duties and obligations. Kids love the place and never want to leave. They would spend the entire day in the water if we allowed it. In an effort to enjoy family and give them a little break this place fits the bill.

Relaxing family vacation

The home and property were beautiful and obviously well cared for. Quiet and peaceful, great location. This home was fully equipped and worked out perfectly for our family. Our favorite was the screened in back porch where we enjoyed our meals and family time together.

Perfect family getaway!

We had a fabulous family weekend at this beautiful lake house and made lifelong memories! This is our third time here and plan to rent again!The house was spotless and full of helpful amenities. The screened porch overlooking the lake is picture perfect! We had a couple of sandhill cranes visit every morning. With a cup of coffee, what a lovely way to start the day!

Peaceful, quiet, and relaxing. This was the third year we have rented this house. We continue to love the property and enjoy fishing off the dock, swimming in the pond, and using the paddle boards. It's perfect for 2 families to share - there's enough room for everyone. The screened in porch is the best part of the property.

Great Summer Get Away

We really enjoyed the house during our hot August weather. Lots of time spent in the water on boats and fishing. The kitchen was well equipped to feed our team of 10. We will be happy to stay again in the future.

The house was spacious, comfortable and well-equipped. The grounds were lovely -- with a huge front lawn area great for outdoor games and beautiful sloping backyard down to the water.The lake was very peaceful, and you felt like you only had to share it with the plentiful waterfowl, including geese, cormorants, and at least one osprey.The shoreline was weedy and not great for swimming, but the dock area was really nice, and the fishing was spectacular -- it became a nightly ritual for me and my three grandchildren. Once you got past the weeds on a paddleboard or in a kayak, things opened up and you could jump in and swim.All in all, a fantastic setting for a relaxing family time.

Wonderful quiet lake house

We stayed with our toddler, baby and the grandparents. Such a great place for young kids. The lake is very quiet and safe. Perfect beach for the toddler. He had a blast trying to catch all the fishes! Beautiful scenery from the screened porch. Amenities are very nice. Host was very responsive and helpful. Highly recommend!

Perfection

This property is perfect in every way. It is immaculate and very well designed. My grand babies loved the beach area and water. We played down there every day for hours. The adults loved the kayaks out on the calm and quiet lake. Everything about the area and this beautiful home was just perfect. The screened in sun room was the icing on the cake. Not only a great place to sit and relax but a great place for family meals. Loved everything about this place.

Terrific family vacay!

We had an amazing time visiting this impeccably clean and well appointed house. There was every necessary amenity and more. The family enjoyed the kayaks and paddle board! It was beautiful to wake up each day and see the lake. We loved eating and spending time in the screened in porch. The kids and the adults all enjoyed the serenity and break that this beautiful home provided! Thank you!

Family Summer Vacation

The home is beautifully remodeled and very comfortable and the host is responsive and helpful. We had a wonderful week with 4 generations of family from ages 1 to 88. The screened in porch is our favorite room to gather. The kids enjoyed the sand and beach and lots of land to run. The kitchen is roomy and great for preparing and serving meals. Bliss at Brandenburg Lake House

There was so much to do at the house that we only left to shop for groceries. The kitchen was perfect for making large family meals. We played ping pong every day. Kayaking on the serene lake was everyone’s favorite activity. We sat on the dock and watched the sun set. And fires at night on the beach were a great way to end the day.

Fantastic place

The house and setting were amazing. Better than we could have expected. The kitchen was well equipped for all our cooking requirements. The whole house was spotless and the view to the lake absolutely gorgeous. Sitting on the lanai was a real treat. We would definitely recommend this property to anyone visiting the Chicago area. Super quiet for sleeping and very comfortable beds. All in all an overall excellent experience. Well done to the hosts for providing such a beautiful property to rent.

Perfect for a family getaway

We had 4 adults and 3 children under 12 years old who went on a family getaway from Chicagoland. The house has been renovated nicely and had all the amenities we needed. The house was located on a private lake in a very quiet area. Our kids loved the kayaks and paddle board. They also had a bedroom to themselves. We spent everyday enjoying the lake, either on the water, fishing or sitting on the beach or in the screened porch. We were looking for a quiet place to getaway and found it. We would definitely come back for a long weekend.

Lake Life (aka Our Dreamy Story)

Such an incredible gem! We already knew that this home was going to be awesome from the VRBO listing and reviews but it was beyond our expectations! Our family - me, husband, 9 and 7 year old, along with fun Grandma - loved every single inch of this perfectly cozy minimalist home. A few of our favorites - the sunroom, the variety of kayaks, SUPs, fishing gun, the incredible yard, the firepit, the ping pong table, the basement room with two beds perfect for our boys, the peace and quiet, the kitchen window, the uncomplicated and fun decor, the air-conditioning, the dock provided hours and hours of goodness. This perfect home and location was magical and I can't thank you enough for the care that went into making it special for your guests. Our 6 day stay included a train ride to Chicago, which we picked up 10 minutes from home. A visit to Milwaukee to see the Brewers play our home team - The Rockies! 10 out of 10 - would recommend this stay to anyone!
