"Calypso is a fine place, with one of Crete's most comfortable and scenic balconies. Antonis welcomed us warmly and showed us to our room, which was beautifully equipped and had an impressive balcony overlooking the Libyan Sea. "This was by far the most unique, amazing hotel we stayed at on the island of Crete. Upon arrival we were given fresh-squeezed lemonade made from their own lemon trees. The staff was so friendly! The building is over 500 years old, and nothing like I've ever seen before. "We spent three lovely days at the villa up in the mountains. It was full of rustic charm and very peaceful (the only sounds in the evening were goats and birds!) "Just had a fabulous stay at Welcome Apartments. Lovely quiet relaxing oasis in the mountains within easy reach of tavernas, bars, shops, beaches & restaurants.
