    For those of you living in the city, this place offers a gentle escape from the ordinary—an extension of your everyday life.
    Here, you’ll find the original scenery of Japan’s satoyama—a landscape that seems familiar yet has largely disappeared today.
    From the shrines deep in the forest to the roadside shrines (dosojin) standing by the path, each one possesses its own unique character, making this a place where a profound local spirit thrives.
    If you take a stroll around the area, you may even encounter locals who live nearby.
    You’ll witness the changing seasons through the farmers working in the fields and see the friendly smiles of children on their way home from school.
    Interacting with locals you meet on your travels will give you a sense of calm and warmth.
    For some reason, those chance encounters will become cherished memories that make you want to say, “I’m home.”

    This 120-year-old mansion, once owned by a wealthy farmer, retains the charm of its old pillars and beams while featuring a modern jacuzzi and an island kitchen brimming with functional beauty.

Due to the nature of this traditional Japanese house, there are many areas both inside and outside the building where you must be careful of steps and other uneven surfaces. Please take every precaution to avoid injury. We cannot accept any liability for injuries sustained on the premises. Furthermore, we cannot accept any liability for food poisoning or similar incidents resulting from cooking performed by guests or from food brought onto the premises.
Since this is an area where organic farming is prevalent, there are more insects here than in the city. Please take adequate precautions, such as wearing rubber boots, when entering grassy areas. Also, if you plan to enter nearby fields or farmland, please obtain permission from the local residents. Furthermore, there is a risk of encountering wild animals after sunset or in the early morning. Please be careful.
