"The staff went above and beyond when we were running late to ensure we were able to get into our room. They even deep cleaned my room before arrival to assist with my potential allergies. "Nicely appointed room with comfortable bed, clean and modern bathroom (and power shower) with tea & coffee making facilities, a hairdryer and a really powerful fan (needed in this warm weather). Slept well even though there was a pub nearby as it felt pretty quiet when the windows were closed. Smart TV was great as I could log intomall my own chanels. Only minor point was there was nowhere to hang up clothes - I think there was a nook for it, so maybe the rail was just missing. No problem...

"Very close to the centre, with restaurants and cafés. The self catering in the house was great too. The bedrooms were comfortable and there was a great living area downstairs too! "Staff were all very friendly and efficient. The room was rather sparsely furnished, just one chair for two of us, for example. The hairdryer was burnt out, but quickly replaced as soon as we reported it. However, the best aspect was the restaurant and food. The system of enabling guests to read the menu on their phones and order from there was excellent. The food was quickly served and of first-class quality. Highly recommendable."

"The final email re instructions on how to get through the front door and then the room were not sent, which delayed me quite a bit. Note to cleaners: check the small bin in the shower room is empty. I had an unpleasant suprise... Room 3 was quiet (thank you!) even though the property - unnamed on the outside - is on a busy, noisy road. A little over priced, on balance."
