"I took my daughter to see Wicked. We had a wonderful girls weekend! We were able to walk to the theatre, we took a boat tour and explored downtown. I didn’t have to drive anywhere. I also love the free breakfast and dinner! "

"What a great place to stay! The room features and amenities per floor were top notch. The owner was gracious and the on-site host was incredibly helpful. I will be staying here again when I'm in MKE on business and for pleasure."

"Beautiful building in a great location! Meticulously clean rooms and friendly staff made the stay better. However, the front office manager, Lindsay Alberte, surprised us with an anniversary treat and note sent to our room after casually chatting during check-in. Her thoughtfulness has us planning a return visit!"

"The hotel was sophisticated, yet kid friendly. The beds and pillows were incredibly comfy and the bathroom was gorgeous. Would absolutely stay here again!"

"My stay at the hotel was a very good experience. The check-in was very easy and the room was clean and also offered a kitchenette, which was very convenient across the street was a small convenience store, which was very nice to have in order to be able to use the kitchenette. The hotel was a bit far from Central downtown Milwaukee, but was close to a lot of different options just couple blocks away, including entertainment, dining, and some walkable areas. "Comfortable Hotel. Very pleasant stay. Great room with a refreshing and nicely tiled bathroom. That evening prior to going to a Summerfest event I had a delicious Turkey BLT. I also had breakfast the next morning I asked for a waffle with berries on top along with chicken sausage. The server and the kitchen created a perfect breakfast for me. Thank you Iron Horse Hotel for taking such great care of me!"

"I loved the atmosphere of this place! It's quiet, historic, and it was pleasant. The only real draw back was the window air conditioner, but besides that, staff was friendly and check in was quick, check out quicker. Parking was either free on street or you could pay $20 a night and park in the gated lot the residents and other guests used. My only drawback was there weren't any sewing kits availability, but that's my fault."
