"Very welcoming reception from the host. We stayed for two nights and had a fantastic cooked breakfast each morning. My wife is coeliac and was well catered for. This B&B is ideally suited for the city centre, has close transport links and also provides on-street parking.
I highly recommend this place and would definitely stay here again. "

"Lovely B&B. The building is grand and the rooms are big and airy. Free WiFi, iron and board, huge bathroom, dressing table with cotton wool balls etc Breakfast was lovely, full English, cereal, fruit and yoghurt nothing was too much trouble. If we are ever back in Carlisle we will stay here again 😊"

"Could not imagine a more wonderful stay. Hiking Hadrian’s wall and the Sally was a most wonderful stay. The food was incredible with great vegetarian and gluten free options. The rooms were large and comfortable with very comfortable beds, great water pressure, and all spotlessly clean. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful, all in a lovely little parish. I highly recommend staying at the Sally. "

"El Solway Lodge Hotel nos defraudó al llegar, porque más que un hotel se trata de un B&B con pocos servicios. Teníamos reservada una habitación familiar para 4, con cama doble y dos literas, pero las literas estaban rotas y tuvimos que pedir cambio de habitación. Estas habitaciones estaban en un bulgalow, separado del edificio principal, con lo que no teníamos wifi y nos mojábamos para ir a desayunar. Por lo demás, el trato del personal fue muy amable."
