Església de Sant Francesc de la Vinya

The room was not clean, there were stains on the sheets, no towels. When we asked the cleaning lady for towels she simply said “no.” I then asked when there would be clean towels and again she said “no.” There were hundreds of dirty towels on the floor in the hallways but they never got washed during our entire stay. The cleaning lady finally brought us one towel to share for our 3 night stay. The room caused my allergies to flare up horribly, not sure if it was due to dust or mold. The walls are covered in cloth so I’m sure it holds in a lot of dust. No one was there ever present at the front desk during our entire stay, just the one cleaning lady. The power went out on our last night there and we needed to contact the number on WhatsApp. No one ever showed up to the property, they simply sent images of where to locate the breaker box to turn the power back on ourselves. Extremely disappointed and have gotten no response from the hotel when asking for a partial refund.

The room was nice ,clean, large, quiet and updated. The staff was friendly, professional, and helpful. The neighborhood was wonderful, beautiful restaurants and bars very close by Vaperrettos also close by. A fun easy walk towards the center of Venice, maybe about 15 minutes if you don’t shop too much, but that’s part of the fun of Venice. but it was a two-story room, which was not what I was after. Walking down the stairs in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom, I had to turn on the light, waking my partner. All in all, I would very much recommend this property and give it a strong nine out of 10
