Nothing but the “charming BEST”, about this cabin! I loved it so much and hopefully I may be able to book another week soon! The location, with the creek, and next to the main town made this cottage an amazing place to stay!

My Family and I have had the pleasure of staying at Idyllcottage on several occasions. It has an ideal location across from Cafe Aroma and is walking distance to downtown. We love that it has the ability to accommodate several couples and the back yard with the bbq and hot tub is ideal. The peace and nature we experience on our visits never disappoint! Highly recommended!

We absolutely loved every minute of our stay! Walking to town was so easy and the cottage was so cozy. Every amenity you would expect and then some were available. We can’t wait to come back!

Wonderful family and adult friendly rental

Our family really needed a get away that would help both myself, my husband, and our 3.5 year old relax. We loved being able to walk to everything, and my daughter loved spending time at the creek. The cabin itself had everything a family could want, and my daughter wanted to move in; she loved it so much! Our hosts were kind and responsive and helped make our stay even better! I would absolutely book with Experience Idyllwild again and would love to stay at the cabin in the future!

Cozy Cabin is Adorable!

We loved every minute of our stay in this historic, darling, family cabin. Communication was excellent. Cabin had everything we needed - and more. We loved every minute of our stay. A big thank you to the hostesses that go above and beyond.

Charming cabin! We loved our stay here. Excellent, well-stocked kitchen and amenities. Super comfy beds, skylights to see the trees. Cozy and well-appointed. Great couch by the fireplace and nice gated patio surrounded by the trees - we’ll try the hot tub next time! And a few steps away from the Creek Trail - wonderful, peaceful trail along Strawberry Creek - easy and great with dogs. AND short walk to restaurants, shops, bars.

Moska’s Stay

We had a great weekend at Idyllcottage! We loved the location, easy to walk into town and close to great hiking! We enjoyed soaking in the jacuzzi and having some quiet time reading on the couch. Great suggestions on restaurants and activities! Loved that there were games, puzzles and tons of books too! Thank you for a great stay!

Idyllic idyllwild cottage

My wife and got away for a few days at idyllcottage and it was perfect from the moment we arrived. Everything about the place was as advertised, communication with kelly was fantastic! It was wonderful to step outside and have time in the hot tub after making dinner in the well appointed kitchen. Highly recommend!

An Adorable Cozy Stay

The cabin is exactly what we were looking for. It’s a vintage cabin with enough modern amenities, like a well stocked kitchen, fluffy towels, and great A/C that you get the cabin experience without the downsides. It’s close enough to town to drive in within minutes but doesn’t feel like you are crowded. It is a clearly loved cabin and one I appreciate that we had the opportunity to experience.

Vintage cottage was quaint. Appreciated the jacuzzi and excellent location to Strawberry Creek path and creek itself for dog. Sofa was a giant turnoff, sagging cushions and zero support (should have been replaced years ago) . Stained seats on dining room chairs and all patio chairs. All should be replaced. Kitchen had many perks and was very functional. Will try another of their dog-friendly properties, but won't rent this one again . Communication with staff was friendly, professional and prompt.

Girls weekend

I stayed 3 nights and really enjoyed it. We had all we needed with the kitchen stuff to cook a meal or two. Across the street was Cafe Aroma, where I had my last meal listening to a crooner. We walked down to the creek and it was lovely. Beds are comfy and air conditioning was just right. Only suggestion is to post your house number on street, as the sign by driveway listed innacurate number. I walked in to look around and saw the sign on cabin to let me know I was in the right place.

Cute, clean,well equipped, overall excellent. Just a couple of things: sofa cushions desperately need to be restuffed! And a throw blanket for sofa and coffee set up with coffee and creamers would be great additions. the hot tub was lovely , but it took a loooong time to heat up from 85, the temp it is set to on standby, so turn it up as soon as you arrive if you want an early’ish evening hot tub!

Perfect place for a family of four

The cabin is great, especially if you are looking for that vintage cabin feel! Everything is exactly as listed and it is in a great location. It has a great cabin/lodge/vintage feel while still having the conveniences and comforts of modern life. It’s an easy walk to town and a perfect place to chill and relax after nearby hiking.

Charming historic cabin, thoughtfully appointed, in best part of town

The rustic wood interior is gorgeous. Great kitchen and bath. The hot tub is clean and the temperature was ready upon arrival, and worked perfectly. Kelly and Erin were nicely responsive. We’ve wanted to rent this cabin for a while; it finally worked out and was worth the wait. We’ll definitely try to rent Idyllcottage again!
