  • On the north side of the Åfjord, in the small village of Sørbøvåg, lies our vacation home, which features the cozy Sørli vacation apartment on the first floor.

    Separated from the fjord by only a quiet road, you’ll enjoy a magnificent view of the water and the steeply rising Lihesten rock massif behind it—featuring the “Lauvelva” waterfall—through the apartment’s large windows or directly from the terrace.

    Discover the many possibilities for a relaxing vacation, away from the tourist crowds, right on the fjord, and in what we consider one of the most beautiful spots on earth....

Dieses charmante Ferienhaus liegt direkt am Åfjord. Man hat vom Esstisch und der Terrasse aus einen tollen Blick in den Fjord, auf den Hafen und die Berge.Das Badezimmer ist komplett saniert. Die Einrichtung im übrigen ist authentisch, gepflegt und gemütlich. Wir haben bestens geschlafen und gewohnt. Sørbøvagen hat eine gute Infrastruktur, es gibt einen Landhandel, eine Tankstelle, einen Hafen, eine Badestelle und in näherer Umgebung Wanderwege. Unmittelbar an der Badestelle sind ein Fußball- und Beachvolleyballplatz gerade neu entstanden. Eine Skaterbahn und Wassertrampolin sollen folgen.Im und am Fjord lässt es sich gut baden und angeln.Für die in Reiseführern empfohlenen besonders sehenswerte Orte hat man aufgrund der abgelegenen Lage des Ferienhauses in der Regel einen längeren Anfahrtsweg. Fazit: Wir können das Ferienhaus sehr empfehlen und uns vorstellen, wieder zu kommen.

Vacances calmes et agréables

Un excellent point de départ pour visiter la région de Bergen à Alesund. L'endroit est éloigné des zones trop touristiques mais permet de profiter des paysages,des cascades et des fjords de Norvège. La maison offre d beaux espaces pour une famille pour cuisiner.lire le soir manger a l'intérieur ou quand il fait beau sur la terrasse à proximité du fjord. Merci pour votre accueil.

Tolle Ferienwohnung

Der Aufenthalt in Norwegen war sehr schön, wenn auch das Wetter nicht so gut war. Objekt ist sehr gut ausgestattet. Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter klappte sehr gut. Die Lage ist allerdings etwas abgelegen, was aber bei einem Blick auf die Karte kein Geheimnis ist.

The apartment and its terrace has fantastic views of the fjord, but since it is located in the basement, it is badly ventilated and has a particular smell. The fireplace is definitely a plus (there is also enough firewood provided by the host), but unfortunately you can’t open a window in the living room to make sure that there is enough oxygen (so you have to open the front door).The bathroom has been renovated quite recently, so it is modern and clean. The rest of the house could use some refurbishing, and the bedrooms are not comfortable (too many bunkbeds in one, one long pair of single beds in another and barely any room to move around in the master bedroom).Also, there is no wifi in the house, and even though the description mentions a dvd player, there was only one DVD (we actually bought two second-hand dvd’s and left them behind, so there are a few more now).The pillows provided were really not OK. All of them too old and lumpy, which means that your head will either lay directly on the matras or on a lump which strains your neck.The surroundings are truly stunning, and there are many great hiking trails, but absolutely nothing else to do except for fishing or renting a boat. The closest not very exciting town is 80 km away.
