Hi,I'm Lisbeth and I own this little gem hidden in the dunes. My husband and I bought the cottage in January 2021 with the aim to share it with others who appreciate a location directly in the Danish West Coast nature, the amazing tranquility, the big dunes, and the close proximity to the wide North Sea beaches at Haurvig and Hvide Sande. The wonderful sandy beach is less than 500 meters away and you do not have to cross any roads to get there. You will have space, air to breathe, and lots of car free trails if you like hiking or cycling. On the southern stretch of the Danish West Coast, the Haurvig area is where the dunes are highest. There is plenty of space and beautiful nature for walking, running, bicycling, wind and kite surfing, paddle boards etc.The beaches are wide with smooth white sand and clean water.For safe family friendly swimming, we also recommend the life guard supervised South Beach in Hvide Sande (Hvide Sande Syd-strand) at a distance of 6 km from our cottage. Life guards are on duty from late June until approx 20-August.NEW 120 KM BICYCLE PATH: you will be able to ride a bicycle undisturbed by traffic all the way around Ringkøbing Fjord (or just pop down to Nymindegab or up to Søndervig). You will ride on a nice, smooth, dedicated bicycle path - kept away from traffic at all times. This is a huge investment by the local municipality in order to make the Ringkøbing Fjord area one of Europe's top cycling destinations! Modern on the inside, old-fashioned on the outside.ELECTRICITY, WATER, BED LINEN, AND ALL FEES INCLUDED :-)About the house: we have all new installations in the small but functional bathroom, everything in the kitchen is brand new (dishwasher, oven, refrigerator, and we have also added some extra luxury with a 2-zoned wine refrigerator and an outdoor pizza oven - (pizza oven not available during the winter months)). Both beds on the ground floor are new and we also changed the rest of the interior. There's outdoor furniture and sunbeds - and you will find everything you need for a fantastic North Sea holiday! Please note that everything is included in the rent you see here, i.e. heating, electricity, water, bed linen etc. are all included (this is not the standard in Danish holiday rentals but we feel this is much more transparent for our guests).NB: the cottage has two bedrooms on the ground floor and one bedroom on the first floor (only accessible via a staircase which is little bit steep and somewhat narrow).The cottage is the ideal place for an active and /or relaxing vacation for both kids and adults. You can rent bicycles to ride along the 'Vestkyststien' - a 45 km trail running through the dunes - only for walking or bicyckling. There is also surfing, wind surfing, kite surfing, stand-up paddle boarding, canoeing etc. and especially Hvide Sande is a hub for water sport. Our cottage is located only 500 meters from the sea and is close to the fjord too. You don’t have to cross any roads when you walk to the sea!
