I chose not to stay at this property after check-in. The exterior and location are both great. However, the property has clearly not been maintained. Upon check-in, which was pleasant and easy, I discovered deteriorated carpeting and wall coverings, the HVAC upstairs was not working properly, the linens on the bed were stained and damp, the room door was broken, and electrical wiring was exposed. The room was simply not habitable. The desk clerk was pleasant when I turned my keys back in, and didn't challenge my dissatisfaction. It does appear, however, that I will have to take a loss on the room fee as I checked in right at the cancellation cutoff time. I'm hoping that Expedia will make things right.
