Upon check-in I inquired about the free airport shuttle as advertised on their website. They said it was not avaliable and needed to be reserved 48 hrs in advance. I only booked the room 96 hours ago. I purposefully selected the accessible room for my husband's disability (rm 221). It is quite large and spacious (with a bit of a musky scent), but the tub is not accessible. I asked the front desk employee if they had a shower chair he could use because there are no handlebars and it is unsafe. He didn't know what one was and sent a message to his manager. The manager responded that there was only one truly accessible room (rm 114) and he offered to change us. I go back up to the 2nd floor to gather our belongings and bring to the new room on the 1st floor. We get in the new room and there is an even muskier scent. Upon further inspection, it was covered in mold. We opted to go back to the old room and decide that my husband will just not shower. I make the 2 trips back up stairs with all our belongings and check the bath one more time to see if he can make it work only to find a long stray hair at the tub base. Gross. The cherry on top is that I went back to the desk to return the keys for the moldy room and ask for a band-aid. The front desk was like, oh yeah, we have them and proceeds to go to the mini convenient store for me to purchase them. Then, he was oh, we are out of them. I was like, you were going to make me pay for them? Sigh.
