  • This ground floor "bottom" unit dream house built with growing families in mind. Very comfortable queen sized beds and bunk beds This 3 bedroom luxury home sleeps 8 comfortably. Includes Wireless Internet access, flat screen TV, Cable Programming. The “lower” beach level home is a 1200 sq. ft. 3-bedroom with 2-bathrooms with occupancy limit of 8 and offers exclusive use of the beach deck. Sunset Beach sits within a green belt of non-metered overnight public.

    Sunset Beach is the most northern portion of Huntington Beach and is a wonderful one-mile long “small town”, with year around events, it is close to many Southern California attractions - but nestled away on a beautiful un-crowded white sandy beach. Its name gives away our secret of breath taking sunsets and views of Catalina Island from these dream homes. Each home is approximately 6 miles from the Huntington Beach pier and just over 1 mile from the Seal Beach pier.

    Sunset Beach is a beautiful, cozy beachfront community. It is located just northwest of Huntington Beach (Surf City) in Orange County, California. The two best features of Sunset beach is the fact that it is one of the widest beaches in southern California and the Green Belt that runs parallel to the beach from the northern edge of town to the southern edge of town. The Sunset Beach Green belt is great for walking, exercising or just sitting and enjoying the amazing ocean view. Since the beach is so wide and there are no beach vendors or buildings the sunset looks amazing. Sunset Beach is truly one of California’s gems. Typical local entertainment includes romantic beach walks, swimming, surfing, surf-fishing, bicycle riding, sunbathing, reading, relaxing, great restaurants, and just about any other fun activity that one can dream up.

    Sunset Beach sits within a green belt of non-metered overnight public parking. There is typically parking all around the home at all times of the year. You can see aerial view of parking by mapping address 16525 S Pacific Ave. Sunset Beach, CA.

    The building consists of two individual units which rent separately. The “lower” beach level home is a 1200 sq. ft. 3-bedroom with 2-bathrooms with occupancy limit of 8 and offers exclusive use of the beach deck. The “upper” home consists of upper floors 2 & 3, occupancy limit of 12 with 5-bedrooms, 4.5-bathrooms at 3800 sq. ft. and a 3rd floor deck with outdoor fireplace. The garage is attached to the “upper” home and is for the exclusive use of the “upper” home. Upper home can be found at https://www.vrbo.com/254059ha. Each home has entrances on opposite sides of the building, each home has their own paths to the beach, and their own outdoor showers. The homes do not share any amenities.

We loved this beach house and would definitely stay here again. The location was excellent, right on a quiet beach that never felt crowded. The home was very clean, comfortable, and fully stocked with everything we needed for our stay.The beds were comfortable, the shower pressure was fantastic, and the check in and check out instructions were clear and easy to follow. The door code worked perfectly, making arrival hassle free.We also enjoyed having several great restaurants within walking distance, along with a convenient neighborhood market nearby.Overall, this was a wonderful stay, and we highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing beach getaway.

Quick access to the beach, right on the sand. Sand Toys available for kids in a hide away on the deck. Super clean and well maintained property, was easy to get in to, we had zero problems and would definitely rent again.

Absolutely beautiful and relaxing! Having the beach literally in the backyard made it easy to haul all the kids sand toys without breaking a major sweat! The house is clean and well put together would definitely book again!

The parking is non-existent so that was very frustrating all weekend. They listed a fire pit and bbq yet when we got there the fire pit was for the lower unit and our grill was rusted and out of gas. I had to cook all our dinners with 2 pans and improvise since we only brought things to grill. The AC is very weak and having to cook everything inside made it so hot inside the house. They did have some ants on the kitchen island but being by the beach it’s to be expected. It was clean and had pretty much all the house items we needed so that was a positive.

This amazing house is just as advertised. Doors open up to a beautiful beach. Everything was clean when we arrived, and the kitchen was fully stocked with dishes and cooking supplies/utensils. We were able to park right in front of the house. The location was central to so many fun things to do, such as whale watching or enjoying the Long Beach Aquarium. The host quickly responded to any questions we had. This was definitely a five star stay!

We really enjoyed our vacation on the beach. The home had everything that we needed and it was so nice to be able to walk out on the deck and then right into the sand. Our 3 year old granddaughter really enjoyed playing in the sand and in the ocean. The host was very responsive to my questions. We will definitely be back!!

Overall it was good. Brad were comfortable, clothing storage space was good. Need better hangers. Need better paper towels and provide napkins and plastic utensils for beach meals. Dining table Furniture needs to be replaced. The rubber furniture feet are terrible and fall off whenever chairs are moved. 1/2 bathroom shower head needs to replaced; no water pressure.

The house is fantastic!The host was kind to let us check in a few hours early which was so helpful as our kids were sick and miserable.The house is right on a gorgeous beach that you can walk out to right from the back of the house. The house could use a few minor updates but it does not take away from the incredible location. It was also impeccably clean. We would definitely stay again!

The beach view was obstructed by a winter sand wall which was difficult to climb over. It was bulldozed down 2 days before we checked out making the view and ocean access fantastic. Kitchen was well equipped although the high cabinets made getting to the dishes difficult. A step stool would be great. The home is advertised as entire home on VRBO , however it is the bottom unit of a duplex. The deck is large and in excellent shape. A few more umbrellas would be helpful as there is no shade. All in all we are quite satisfied and will come back if our health allows travel.

Nice house located right on the water. Close to lots of great areas and plenty of things to do.

Property was nice in a good location. We loved being right on the beach and only a short drive to many of the things we wanted to go to.
