"Small cabin, just for 1 or 2 people. However, the stairs up to the bed on the upper floor are very steep. Very welcoming and friendly hosts"

"We had a friend up from the lower 48 and wanted to give him the Alaskan experience, this property did not disappoint! We had a beautiful view of the mountains, glaciers and the ocean. The property was just what we were looking for"

"We were very disappointed, as it did not match the pictures. Property was unkempt and overgrown with weeds. The outhouse had cobwebs and was not very clean. The cottage was a bit rundown, and poorly supplied. There were no paper towels or tissues, and only 2 little kitchen towels and 1 washcloth, so it was difficult to maintain any decent hygiene, or even wash the dishes. If you are considering this place, bring towels and all your own supplies. "

"Wonderful well maintained cabin in the woods. Private and well equipped with everything you need. Great place to decompress and enjoy the peace and quiet. Catkin is a lovely hostess and she made certain we had everything we needed including great directions. Will book again next trip to Homer"

"A nice and quiet place. We rented the downstairs unit. Kids and I had a great time. There is also a place to have a fire and the kids roasted hot dogs on our last night and made s'mores. It is a very quiet neighborhood. The interior was very nice. Comfortable and clean place. The creek was lots of fun for us as well. The family next door had kids and we made some friends, they also had horses, and ducks and chickens and dogs and I think a goat! It's a really wonderful and quiet area."

"Traveled to Homer several times, usually alone and stay on the spit. This time I brought family who wouldn’t have appreciated it as much. Found this little gem and we all had a grand stay! Highly recommend for all ages- thank you 😊"

"Beautiful setting and quiet neighborhood. The building seems to lack insulation against noise from the upstairs apartment. We could hear people peeing in the toilet above the bedrooms, every step they took and doors closing. When the toilets flush or water runs there’s also a loud pump. The walls inside the apartment are thin as well. So if noise is an issue for you to get a good night sleep this probably isn’t a good place to stay. We enjoyed sitting outside on the porch. "

"Good: rooms were big and airy. Bad: paid deposit at time of booking and the other half was supposed to be paid at stay but the 2nd payment was charged to my credit card a month before actual stay. Had 2 pull out couches, 1 the frame was broken and the other was uncomfortable "

"We've rented quite a few places and this was the best! The view, the location, the deck, the privacy, and the cleanliness! It is also the little things that made it so great. We have never stayed at a place with so many condiments or with a grill that was spotless and ready to use. We hope to come back and highly recommend it to all."
