Gulf Island Beach & Tennis Club is a fabulous gated private island retreat! You will enjoy magnificent views from almost everywhere in this luxurious 1,236 sq. ft. 6th floor carpet-free condo in Building 1! You will be mesmerized by gorgeous sunset views over the gulf to the west and sunrise views over the canals to the east!

There is free secure WiFi, flat screen HD TVs, and a washer/dryer in this beautiful 2 BR/2 BA condo with den that sleeps six! This condo is one of the few west facing units with a dock available for rent at Gulf Island so bring your boat! Enjoy the private lagoon with a white sand beach and the mile long nature trail that runs right along the Gulf. There is great fishing from shore so don't forgot to bring your fishing gear even if you don't bring your boat!

Relax, relax, relax!!! A long balcony fronts both the Living room and the Primary \ BR for easy outdoor access. You can sit for hours and watch the boat traffic, the osprey and eagles catching fish, and look for the porpoises and manatees that frequent the lagoon. This luxury condo is beautifully decorated and fully stocked with everything you could need - just bring your beach towels! Very comfortable beds - a king in the primary bedroom and a queen in the guest room. The primary bath has double vanities and a new gorgeous walk-in shower. The den has a sleeper sofa if you need extra sleeping space! There is a reserved parking space in the garage for your use so your car does not bake in the Florida sun. The condo is conveniently located and is in close proximity to Tampa (approx. 45 minutes from the Tampa airport), St. Petersburg and the Clearwater beaches.

The condo was clean, the kitchen well-equipped, the washer and dryer worked well and we loved sitting on the well-appointed balcony watching the dolphins in the lagoon and the gorgeous sunsets. We appreciated the peace and quiet in the building and the building’s pool was warm, clean and most enjoyable.

This condo and property were the perfect Christmas vacation for our family. The condo was comfortable and had everything we needed. The owner was very quick to respond to any questions. We enjoyed watching sunsets on the balcony, swimming in the pool, using our kayaks and paddle boards, and watching the many dolphins and manatees. This is awesome!

I can't find enough words to describe how wonderful our stay was. This place is amazing! The owner is really good at communicating. We had perfect weather. Every detail is given to making this a comfortable place to stay. I highly recommend this rental! Except if you try to book it next time i want it.

Another Stay In Paradise

This was our second stay at this property, and we have already booked again for next year. The condo complex is ideally located and well-kept and the condo unit itself is beautifully decorated and well equipped. The owner has made some great kitchen appliance upgrades since our last stay. The owner is very attentive and quick to respond to any questions. Highly recommend the property.

Great February stay

We really enjoyed the condo and area. Views from the balcony were fabulous and easy to navigate the area. Walked to several water front bars and restaurants . Especially liked Sam’s. Cindy was very accommodating and great to work with. Will look to stay here again.

Another wonder stay

Every time we stay at the property we find something new to do. The condo is always clean and well stocked. Cindy responds quickly to any questions or concerns. This year we went to Crystal River to swim with the manatees - I highly recommend it.

Vacation in Hudson

The condo is exactly as described in the pictures and is very clean. The taller chairs on the balcony were greatly appreciated as it allowed a better view over the balcony wall to see the dolphins and manatees. We loved being on the balcony having coffee in the morning and a cocktail in the evening. The sunsets were beautiful. There is also a nature trail which we enjoyed walking. Cindy sent check in instructions well in advance which was very helpful. She even included driving directions from the Interstate. She was very easy to communicate with responded very quickly. We really enjoyed our stay!! Debbie

Great condo & location!

The condo was perfect for our 10 day stay. The sunsets from the balcony were awesome! Nice secure and quiet location. Condo had plenty of room for an extra family member to visit for a few days. Loved watching all the wildlife including sting rays in the lagoon. The Inn on the Gulf, Sam Seltzers & Sam's Beach Bar where our favorite places to eat. Another Great Gulf Island Getaway

We have stayed in condos at this complex several times over the years. This complex is in a great and scenic location with beautiful views of the lagoon, Gulf and the complex itself. The pool and beach properties are well maintained. This specific condo we stayed in this year is beautifully decorated and well maintained/equipped. Cindy the owner was a pleasure to work with and she was attentive and quick to respond to any questions that we had before and during our month-long stay. Would highly recommend that you check out this property if you are planning a trip to Hudson and Gulf Island.

Relaxation

We were looking for rest and relaxation and that is exactly what we found at this condo. The views are breathtaking. The sunsets are beautiful. Cindy is so easy to work with. Hudson is such a friendly and welcoming community. I would highly recommend this condo. Already planning a return trip!

37 Days In Paradise

Our 37 night vacation at this condo was as advertised and more. Check-in was easy and explained well to us beforehand. We found the kitchen fully stocked and a generous amount of dishes, glasses and cutlery. The beds were comfortable with nice linens - lots of towels with extra in the linen closet. The condo was spacious with 2 bedrooms plus a den and 2 bathrooms, one of which had been newly renovated with a new roomy shower with glass doors. We loved the large balcony that faced west with beautiful sunsets and regular dolphin and pelican sightings. The chairs were comfortable, a lounge would be a great addition. The large salt water pool was at a comfortable temperature with lots of lounges and chairs and it was never crowded. We enjoyed the gated 24 hour security at the entrance as well as the underground parking spot provided with the condo. The holiday was peaceful and relaxing - shopping was close by. Everything was wonderful - we are very grateful to our gracious hosts and can’t wait for a return trip here. Ron and Bonnie

Beautiful!

Upon walking into the condo, we realized pictures did this place no justice. It was even more beautiful in person!! Very clean and spacious. We really enjoyed the view from the living room, master bedroom, and of course, the big balcony. Having coffee out on the balcony in the morning was just so serene. We enjoyed the pool, and a walk on the natural trail as well. Many great places to eat nearby too. We really enjoyed our stay, and your condo is stunning. Wonderful- hope to return in 2023!

This condo faces west-with beautiful views of the Gulf-perfect! It was bright, clean and spacious, plenty of storage and drawer space, fully equipped to settle in and relax- just as the Owners describe. Remember to bring beach/pool towels, we forgot and had to buy! We even had dedicated parking space in the garage. The property, Gulf Island, is well maintained and neat. Elevators were being completely rebuilt during our stay. There is a nature trail along the lagoon, lots of wildlife, fishing and kayaking (bring your own) Hudson beach area has a few restaurants/bars with great fresh seafood options and beach views-Inn on the Gulf and Sam's are our favorites. There's grocery stores nearby, Sam's club in Port Richey (best gas prices). It's easy to find whatever you think you need! We found a couple cute places for Breakfast/lunch close by- Ram's Family Restaurant and The Breakfast Club. We played golf a few times, in between the gusty high winds- enjoyed Crescent Oaks the best. Stay away from SummerTree- just is not well maintained at all. We also explored the area- south to Indian Rocks (Guppies for lunch) visited the beaches in Clearwater/St Pete, the downtown area of New Port Richey/Port Richey is cute- found a couple restaurants with fresh clams/grouper- the Crab Shack and the Nauti Oar worth the drive. Also explored north- the town of Ozello is about 70 minutes drive north on 19, then follow the winding road west about 9 miles, through bayous and seagrass, till you get to Peck's Old Port Cove- the absolute best and freshest soft shell crabs! We went twice with our guests! Also explored Homossassa Springs- ended up at Crump's Landing- great spot on the river- lots of activity and stuff to see and do! Don't forget about Tarpon Springs- the sponge docks and boardwalk area has great selection of restaurants and shops- Rusty Bellies is our favorite here. ***We have to say though that the Owners were great to work with- this was our first VRBO rental so I had lots of questions along the way. They always replied immediately. And during our stay we had a couple glitches, that had potential to negatively impact our stay. But the Owners handled each issue quickly and efficiently from far away. They gave us a generous gift card to a local restaurant, appreciating our help in getting the issues resolved. We enjoyed 2 delicious dinners and drinks at the Inn on the Gulf!
