Flip Flop Hideaway - Comfortably furnished with all the conveniences you could need for 6 people to have a great family vacation. There are opportunities for swimming, boating, fishing and all manners of water sports! This property has a large fam-tastic sandy beach area with 275 feet of water frontage. Dock with electricity and sitting area. This lake home has a well equipped kitchen with stove, refrigerator, microwave and dishwasher. The first level has Two Queen bedrooms that share two full baths. Enjoy panoramic views from the deck and sunroom, which reveals Smith Mountain Lake's nature filled woods and lake views that are breathtaking (cue the deer). The third bedroom is located on the lower level off the den with Queen size bed. Lower level also has a TV, bar area and secondary access to the patio, path to the lake and fire pit.

The home has a large patio and covered carport on the side of the house made for relaxing and getting away from the sun for a bit. This area leads to the deck with gas grill and outdoor dining tables. Head on down to your private dock and float on a noodle while watching the comings and goings of sailboats and motor yachts. Bring your own boats or rent locally for a spectacular day of exploration along this beautiful stretch of shoreline. The swim ladder into the water makes an easy access point. The large sandy beach area is perfect for kids to wade in from the shore while parents watch nearby.

This home is completely furnished including dishes, silverware, coffee maker, pots and pans, cooking utensils etc. Just bring your sheets, towels and pillowcases, or feel free to order the linen package through our office. Plenty of parking space is available.

If you are fishing enthusiasts, like we are, you will find some of the best fishing in the state on Smith Mountain Lake. We catch bass, striper and sunfish right off the dock. Licenses can be purchased at most of our local stores or the State Park which are just a short drive away.

House Rules for Your Stay

Responsible Renter: You must be at least 25 years old to rent the property. Proof of age may be requested. A parent or legal guardian must accompany guests under this age.

Occupancy Limit: The property is strictly limited to the number of guests specified in your reservation, as listed in the house advertisement (ages 2 and above). This maximum occupancy cannot be adjusted. Exceeding this limit is a breach of contract and may result in immediate eviction.

Pets Policy: Only dogs are allowed in approved pet-friendly homes with a paid fee. All pets must be leashed and under control at all times. Emotional support animals are not permitted unless explicitly authorized in writing with a fee.

No Parties or Events: The property is for residential use only. Parties, events, or loud gatherings are not permitted and may result in immediate eviction.

Quiet Hours: To maintain a peaceful environment, please keep noise levels to a minimum between 10 PM and 8 AM. Respect the neighbors’ right to quiet enjoyment.

Trash Disposal: Guests must remove all trash upon departure and dispose of it in the designated facility. The cleaning fee covers routine cleaning only and does not include additional cleanup.

Property Respect and Maintenance: Report any maintenance needs immediately to ensure a prompt resolution. Treat the home as your own; any damages or excessive mess may result in additional charges. Please return all furnishings to their original positions upon checkout.

Follow Local Regulations: Abide by all local laws and regulations. No parking on lawns or adjacent properties; please respect all parking restrictions.

Emergency Preparedness: Familiarize yourself with emergency exits and procedures. Keep emergency contact information accessible during your stay.

No Smoking: Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the property. Please use designated outdoor areas for smoking and dispose of all cigarette waste properly.
