" Clean room"

"The heating/cooling unit had poor temperature control. I had to get up to turn it on or off because it would heat the room too much then once off the room would coot to the point of having to turn it back on. There were many shops nearby. It was exactly the original road side motels before hotels came about. "

"The breakfast was very good and the attendant could not have been more friendly and attentive. After having to leave a different location due to power outage we chose this hotel for the pool for the children. After checking in we were told the pool was out of order. This should have been noted on the site. Overall a good stay, but can’t give 5 stars due to lack of communication."

"There was no WiFi. When we arrived the line to check in wrapped around the entrance. We waited our turn to check in when we were told the TVs are not working either."

"I’ve stayed at The Hancock Hotel in Findlay twice now, and both experiences have been excellent. This beautiful, historically inspired property feels far more upscale than its price suggests — truly a hidden gem offering boutique-level comfort at about a Holiday Inn rate. The rooms are elegant, the atmosphere warm and refined, and the service consistently attentive. While the valet parking can seem a bit pricey for the area, the overall experience more than makes up for it. Highly recommend this...

"The first room they gave me had an unusual odor to it, probably from someone smoking in there and they tried to airate the room. It was not pleasant. They moved me as soon as I mentioned my disatisfaction with the odor. The other room was better, though still not as fresh as one would hope for. But it was clean and amenable for my one night purposes. The breakfast was also adequate."

"If you want to try to connect your Netflix to the TV dont bother it doesnt work. If you get to breakfast past 8:00am expect the grab and go stuff to not be stocked (they were out of Nutella packets...chocolate milk...and yogurt)."

"The building was undergoing some construction, which we wish we had known about before booking. However, it did not negatively affect our stay. The rooms were nice and clean, and the lobby was very well kept. The front desk staff was helpful and patient. We had a fairly large group, and at times our kids and group gathered in the lobby and it got a little loud. The staff handled it very professionally and politely asked us to keep the noise down when needed. Breakfast was decent overall,...
