Beautiful mountain getaway near Penn State University!

Beautiful, spacious, private, Mountain Get Away home located on Nittany Ridge and ever so convenient for Penn State and other State College and Centre County attractions. Beautifully appointed and spacious. Enjoy the privacy of the wooded setting in the hot tub on the deck or simply relax and unwind from city life.
Enjoy the beauty of Nittany Valley (the home is situated on 15 pristine acres) while you are only 27 minutes to the Penn State Campus, Beaver Stadium, the Bryce Jordan Center, and Medlar Field at Lobrano Park-the State College Spikes Minor League Baseball Stadium.
It is also a great home base for other Center County attractions like the Grange Fair, Pennsylvania Festival of the Arts, or summer vacations in close proximity to the Bald Eagle State Park and Foster Sayers Lake, Penn’s Cave and Wildlife preserve, and Woodward Cave only minutes away-not hours!
For Fly Fishermen and Hunters, Spring Creek, Penn’s Creek, and the Bald Eagle Creek, have some of the best Trout Fishing anywhere. For Hunting season, deer, turkey, and bear are plentiful and some are record breakers.
Why stay in town when you can enjoy country living in a beautiful home and stay in one of the most beautiful areas in Pennsylvania? It’s also interesting to note that Nittany Valley has one of the largest Amish Communities in the State. You can find baked goods, cheese shops, leather goods, quilts, and see Amish Farms at work in traditional ways.
With excellent country roads (with very little traffic) you can drive 20 miles in the time it takes to drive 2 in the city!

Penn State Graduation

We stayed here for our son’s graduation and couldn’t have been happier with the house. It was exceptionally clean and comfortable. The house had everything imaginable and was perfect.

Fantastic Rental Property

Took some friends to a PSU game and stayed at this wonderful home. Very comfortable, inviting and exceptionally clean . Make sure to visit nearby Goot Essa Cheese (ask for a tour of their cellars), and Hublersburg Inn restaurant. We will definitely stay here again.

Just beautiful & very clean!

This was the perfect house for our large family. We were there for our daughters graduation from PSU. Location was about 20 minutes away, but it worked out perfectly for us. The house was truly amazing. Had everything we needed and the location is just spectacular. I will definitely stay here again.

Ironman Get-a-way

Great place to stay while competing in the 70.3 Ironman! The only downside was that the location wasn't listed correctly and was about 10 miles away from where we were thinking it was, but other than that highly recommended!

The perfect countryside get away!

Wonderful hosts who were helpful and well organized! Our family enjoyed the special touches - board games, cornhole boards, linens already provided, etc. It was warm and welcoming and the brunch we hosted there on Sunday morning was a hit - plenty of room for the caterer to set up food, plenty of parking and a big beautiful yard for the kids to play while the adults chatted! Would stay again in a heartbeat!

Perfect PSU trip!

Our group stayed at this property to attend a Penn State football game. We wished we had another day or two to relax at the house afterwards! We especially loved the game room and hot tub. Excellent communication from the owners too. We highly recommend!

You will not be disappointed with your stay in this beautiful home! Fully wheelchair accessible (other than front door but we always bring a portable ramp when we travel) Exceeded our expectations. Enjoyed our time in the house as much as the PSU football game! Thank you

Wonderful!

Staying at this property has been the best of camping in the Poconos yet! The house is very welcoming, nicely cleaned, and offers everything for an enjoyable stay. Though I have to mention that the location listed is inaccurate. Don’t hesitate to contact the owners as they are very pleasing and will not leave you unsatisfied.

Gorgeous and private

Myself in three coworkers rented the property for the weekend to attend a Penn State football game. The property Is located In an area that is very secluded. The house was well decorated and offered plenty of space for myself and my coworkers. Communication with the owner and rental manager was excellent. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone who is looking to get away for a romantic romantic weekend or just once some seclusion. You can’t go wrong with this property.
