Lake Superior Home - Perfect for a family vacation any time of the year!

Large lakefront home right on beautiful Lake Superior with year-round vacation rental. 200 feet of lakefront with stairs to lake and beach area. Multi-story house (2,000 Sq Ft) with 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, Sauna, and attached garage with work area. Open kitchen, dining, living room, and den looking out to the lake and surrounding woods. Decks off of both the living room and master bedroom for enjoying your morning coffee while watching and listening to the Loons in the Lake or unwinding in the evening while viewing the gorgeous sunset.
Bike to Calumet Waterworks Park, Kayak in Lake Superior, Sauna in the evening and cool off in the Lake. Only six miles to Historic Calumet where you can shop, dine, and sight-see.
The house will accommodate a large family or group of all ages quite comfortably. Family-friendly (extra guest fee for guest total over 5) and pet-friendly (extra pet fee).

The house was wonderful! It was very clean and well-kept. The washer and dryer came in handy. The kitchen was well stocked. All the appliances worked well. The house has big picture windows facing Lake Superior for fabulous views. Check in was very easy. A big thank you to Keith for shoveling the driveway and entryway. We look forward to returning some year in the summertime.

The home had everything we could have needed plus some very thoughtful extras. The view was incredible, and it's been a long time since I've slept that well, with the waves as a constant background. It's the perfect distance from town to be quiet but not too far away.

we have stayed here for a few years each fall and love the home friendly atmosphere. The beds have always been comfortable, and the washer and dryer are a big plus. Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay this year. The owner is very prompt in responding to your emails.

We loved the view of Lake Superior and the outdoor space. The house itself was nice. Guests should be aware that only the master bedroom has a door the other beds are in a loft area. The space is perfect for a family.

Stella's is always magical

Lots of room, great cooking supplies for making meals, access to the shore, kayaks and fishing poles, books and games for rainy days. We have been here multiple times, and it's honestly one of our favorite places

Great place, Great Views, Great Amenities

This place really does have everything. We didn’t need anything but it was so nice to know that the owner, Keith, lives right next door. Keith’s communications before we arrived were great. The place is cozy, even when the wind blows off of Lake Superior. The location is great right between The Calumet Waterworks and McClain State Park. The kitchen was fully stocked with pots and pans, crockpot, dishes and coffee bar. The extra little touches were so appreciated. This is a place that I would absolutely love to bring my family back to. Thanks Keith for sharing your place with us! We had such a great time!

Rocks, sunsets, northern lights and a polar plunge

This was a second stay at Stella’s Hideaway and the place feels like home. It’s fully equipped with everything you’d need and more. The beds are really comfortable and there’s enough of them to host a large crew. Incredible sunsets off Lake Superior and good rock hunting for agates and yopperlites. We even got a glimpse of Northern Lights. We will definitely be back! Thanks Keith for being a great host!

The Hideaway

I want to say it is terrible so I can come back again and again but I have to be honest and say this was the most beautiful spring break we've had. I hope to come back to Stella's hideaway many times. The accommodations are so very thoughtful and Keith is a wonderful 'neighbor' and host. He went out of his way to make sure we felt like we were right at home. This place is one of a kind. We saw the northern lights 3 nights in a row. Can't wait to come back when it is warm and try out all the fun lake toys!

Perfect Winter Lodging

This place right on Lake Superior was excellent for a winter getaway to the Keweenaw. Close to Calumet but still in the wilderness to feel isolated. Sauna onsite is excellent. Plenty of beds as well as a really nice master bedroom. Responsive host. Highly recommend!

Winter Wonderland

Our family of six plus an old dog had a fantastic time at Stella’s Hideaway. Everything we needed was already there. The Hideaway was perfect for game time and the beds were cozy. The wifi was strong. The sauna was warm and eucalyptus oil was available for the water bucket. The shoreline ice was dramatic and mesmerizing out the many picture windows. We skied daily at Swedetown and enjoyed visiting shops in Calumet. Thank you for the wonderful memories!
