Historic Keweenaw, 1 Bedroom Cottage

After a full day of adventure, enjoy and relax in this newly built 1 bedroom cottage in the Keweenaw. Conveniently located near Swedetown Trails and the Snowmobile trail, this modern cottage features all the amenities you’ll need. This cottage provides guests with a modern and comfortable place for lodging near Calumet, Michigan. There is a queen bed in the main bedroom and a love seat hide a bed in the living room.

This cottage can fit up to three guests.

The kitchen has plenty of room for cooking and is fully-equipped with a sink, stove, oven refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker and toaster. Dishes, pots and pans, cutlery, and utensils are also provided. Towels, washcloths, soap, and shampoo are included in your stay.

Built for year-round accommodation, this cottage has both forced air heating and air conditioning. You are guaranteed to feel comfortable no matter what time of year you stay. The main office building houses a coin-operated laundry area with new washers and dryers for guest use.

The cottage will be clean when you arrive and we ask it is left in the same clean condition it was found.

Location is good. Quiet even being right in town. Smaller than I thought it would be but worked out okay.Fold out couch is useless. Broken frame and nasty mattress. Pans to cook in need to be thrown away and replaced. Deep cleaning is seriously needed. Window over the sink is gross, dirty floor in bathroom, etc. Just yuck.

Cute in Calumet

For a couple of a small child the one bedroom is so cute and clean. The flooring in front of the shower is a worn. When coming back to the are, this is the place to stay.! Full size appliances make it extra nice touch.

Cute cottage in Calumet. Location is next to a U-Haul storage facility, so it felt a little isolated. Close to grocery store and restaurants. The kitchen table could use a coat of paint to cover up all of the scratches on the surface. No paper towel or facial tissues, which is typically provided at a VRBO. Bench outside and a picnic table was a nice touch. Easy checkin and checkout.

Jerry keeps a clean and neat property, which is conveniently located in the middle of the Keweenaw Peninsula to get to Copper Harbor, Eagle Harbor, Houghton, McLain State Park, Torch Lake and others. My wife and I stayed with 2 dogs and were very comfortable. Complete kitchen, pull out love seat and a separate bedroom.

Clean and cute unit, well-stocked with needed supplies. Nature and walking path on a picturesque pond just down the road. Local historic places within close driving. Great dining and casual food options nearby. Rivers and Lake Superior…we’ll be back!

Clean and secure!

The cottage was very clean and very secure. We traveled to Copper Harbor for two days and Houghton for one. This property was about equal distance from both and suited us very well. The view from the property wasn’t great, but it was quiet and peaceful.

Perfect Cottage Close to Houghton and Hancock

The cottage was just the right size for my partner and I for the long weekend! Very cozy and came with everything that we needed. The Wi-Fi was slow at times and we couldn't get the netflix to load on the TV in the living area, but it worked just fine on a personal laptop :). The shower gets hot and there is a lot of privacy! The owner and his wife were super easy to work with and very helpful to solve any problems we encountered. We would stay here again!

Comfortable and Cozy

Enjoyed our stay. Close to snowmobile trails, sledding, beautiful cross country trails and dog trails. Check in was a breeze even late evening. Definitely will stay again.
