Our vacation home offers plenty of space to spend time together, but also to enjoy some quiet time on your own. With room for 9 people, 4 bedrooms, 3.5 bathrooms, and all the necessary comforts, everyone is sure to enjoy a relaxing stay. Whether you want to enjoy a leisurely meal together, play games, or simply relax: there’s room for everyone.

The vacation home is situated in a beautiful green setting, close to the Ourthe River, and even has its own private forest! For children, it’s one big adventure. Head into the woods together, build a secret camp among the trees, or go exploring in nature. Here, children can let off steam to their heart’s content, while the adults enjoy the peace and quiet of the countryside. And who knows—you might even spot one of the deer that live nearby and occasionally bound by!

One of the coziest spots in the house is our inviting veranda. Here, you can enjoy a hearty breakfast, your first cup of coffee, or a delicious aperitif all year round, with a view of the greenery. Even when it’s a bit cooler outside, you can still fully enjoy nature here. When the weather is nice, life moves out to the large, spacious terrace, with the forest literally right next to you. Fire up the BBQ, enjoy a long summer evening with friends or family, and listen to the sounds of nature. Here you’ll experience the ultimate Ardennes feeling!

Houffalize is known as one of the top cycling destinations in the Ardennes. Whether you enjoy challenging mountain bike trails, beautiful climbs on a road bike, or leisurely bike rides, the possibilities are endless. The most beautiful routes are right nearby, and thanks to our convenient bike storage, you can safely store your own bikes. Hikers will also find plenty to enjoy. From the vacation home, you can explore beautiful forests, valleys, and hiking trails along the Ourthe. Nature literally starts right at your front door!

After a day of hiking, biking, or exploring the region, there’s nothing better than taking a moment to completely unwind. Warm up in our private sauna, let your muscles unwind, and enjoy a well-deserved moment to yourself. Then, how about enjoying a cozy aperitif together on the veranda or terrace? The perfect way to end an active day in the Ardennes.

There’s plenty to do indoors, too! In our cozy game room, you can challenge each other to a game of pool. But there’s also a special surprise waiting for you: a real retro VHS VCR with an extensive library of videotapes! Transport yourself back to the ’90s and introduce your kids to the movies from your own childhood. Pick out an old classic together, pop in the videotape, and snuggle up in front of the TV.
