  • This private, waterfront property is just what you are looking for that romantic mountain getaway or family vacation. If you love to fish, this is the cabin for you. Situated in a cozy waterfront setting less than one mile from the town of Hot Springs, Musical Waters is secluded and private, making you feel much farther from town.

    This cozy home is nestled along a bold bend of beautiful Spring Creek and is a private setting with easy access. The property is perfect for fishing, cooling off in the creek or having smores and ghost stories by the fire pit. Features include two bedrooms with queen beds, one full bath, fully equipped kitchen, gas fireplace, satellite TV, washer/dryer, outdoor fire pit, central air and heat, two open decks and a screened in porch. There is no internet and spotty cell service at the cabin, but we hope you' will take it as an opportunity to unplug and reconnect with the provided games and movies. Well behaved dogs welcomed for an additional fee.

    If you venture into Hot Springs just a mile down the road, you will find a variety of local restaurants, Artisun Gallery (for ice cream, coffee and local art, souvenirs), Bluff Mountain Outfitters (for your hiking needs/snacks/souvenirs) , Tobacco Road for a selection of local beer and wine, Sara Jo's gas station, post office, Hillbilly Market, Hot Springs Resort and Spa mineral baths and Dollar General. Other outdoor activities include hiking and rafting/tubing. On weekends, various vendors set up in town to sell a variety of handmade and homegrown goods.

The place was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. The host was friendly, helpful, and made everything easy from check-in to check-out. The location was perfect and the overall stay was relaxing and enjoyable. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great place to stay!

The property was perfect. Great location and easy to get to the area attractions. The view was awesome with the creek sounding off with multiple waterfalls. We look forward to staying again.

We truly enjoyed our stay !! Communicated with host a few times prior to stay and she was very responsive. The back yard cascading water was beautiful and relaxing ! It was removed yet so close to town. Peaceful. Better porch and deck seating would be nice but this would not keep us from returning. We appreciate our stay !!

Great nearby town, yet secluded! Awesome hot springs and lots of cool places to eat in town. Love the creek that runs through the backyard of the house!

Beautiful home on the river

The home was very comfortable, river was extra special! Super close to downtown Hot Springs. Well stocked and comfy beds.

Loved the house. The sound of the creek was truly majestic. It was a terrible time of the year to try to fish the creek (hot and muggy, and on and off heavy rains), but I still caught 12. So, great place to stay for those wanting to fish and willing to work their way up the creek a mile each way. Close proximity to the town was great. Loved it so much that I’ve already booked our next stay.

We love Musical Waters

The community of Hot Springs is rebuilding and it's wonderful to see. The town is coming back alive and the people are as friendly and charming as ever. We love this property. The last few trips to Hot Springs we were with a pretty large crew and had to have a larger rental but Musical Waters is always our first choice. The view of the creek is stunning and we always feel safe and comfortable. Just a lovely, lovely place.

Quiet and secluded spot to beat the heat

Musical Waters was a great place for a base camp to explore Hot Springs. We loved coming back after a hike to cool off in the creek and roast smores by the campfire! Screen porch was a great spot to enjoy coffee in the morning and listen to the soothing sound of the water.

Magical memories

This property was more then we expected. A perfect place to make memories with the family. Spring Creek delivered a more than awesome birthday present for my daughter and myself.

The directions were terrible, took 4 hrs, but we talked to the locals who told us a better way to return, which was only 2 hr.The water is not drinkable, nor could we bathe. It's sulfur water which has a terrible odor. The bathroom sink does not drain properly. The beds were ridiculously hard and too high to get into without a step stool. The outside is in desperate need of cleaning and pressure washing. The information on vrbo says "no pets", but inside there are specifics if you bring your pet. One reason I booked this place was because it doesn't allow pets.The air fresheners all over the house have a sickening smell. We only stayed 1 night because it was so bad and had to forfeit our money for the 2nd night.

What a nice and peaceful place to stay. Great communication with hosts. She got right back to me with in 10-20 mins. The outside screened in porch was the favorite spot in the mornings and evening. I would definitely recommend staying

Amazing experience!

Wife and I spent our 1 year anniversary at Musical Waters, and it was wonderful, and Misty and Mike were great hosts with great communication, and the town of Hot Springs was beautiful with such a fun and friendly community. Couldn't have imagined a better spot for our 1 year anniversary. Will definitely be back again, soon. ❤️

I really can't say enough about how great this place is.

My wife and I travel throughout NC, SC, TN, and Virginia and have stayed in numerous houses/cabins/condos.Some we love, some are ok and we've had several "not OK". I'll have to say this house delivered five Stars across the board. Its everything the ad says it will be and more. Will be back soon!

Perfect getaway.

The property is secluded and private — but close to town, so meals shopping etc was very easy. The creek was deep enough for our labs to swim. The proximity of the house to the water is unique and the view from the living room was hard to leave. BTW, no wifi and spotty cell service — which I thought was great. Work never crept in!!

I enjoyed the location of the cabin and the fact that you can sit on a rock and enjoy the nature sounds or go stick your feet in the amazingly clear creek. The only downside was the musty smell though the wet environment surrounding the cabin doesn’t help this. In general it could some updates (balancing the fans, cleaning the deck) but it has a very good cabin feel and all the surfaces including the floors and fridge were nice and clean upon arrival. My dog and I enjoyed our stay but know that there are coyotes in the area (heard them for 2 nights straight and there were some coyote prints in the sandy areas by the creek the next mornings) so keep an eye on your dogs and kids in the evenings. Overall a good place to disconnect as there is no WiFi and TV channels are limited so a nice break from the daily hustle! Thanks for the stay!

Great location

Five miutes to Hot Springs. Creekside location. Wish property manager had contacted us to not use fire pit, burn ban in effect. Rude neighbor, owners brother, gave not so veiled threat of $500 fine. Acted as if we knew and had SMALL fire anyway.

Mold, must and spiders oh my.Absolutely horrible experience staying here. We couldn’t breathe in either of the two bedrooms due to mold on the ceilings along with the real musty smell through out the house took your breath away. They do leave you a bottle of musty odor spray to combat the horrible smells as you can see in the pictures. We had to leave at 8am after the first night of arriving due to medical disabilities of asthma attacks from being inside of the house. I wish I could upload the videos of the breathing issues and asthma attacks, but only can post pictures. The owner is totally non existent and continues to ghost us , wont respond and won’t refund us due to the issues with the property. Outdoors property is amazing being right on Spring Creek. Bring a tent if you want a real expensive camp site.

Water Pump Failure

The cabin and location wwre both wonderful. PROBLEM: The water pump failed Wednesday March 6. Will we attempted to contact the owner at the number listed in the book via text. And receive no response. We called today Was told that we had the wrong number. It is possible that we did text the wrong number. Either way, it is important that we speak with the owner Misty about about this. My bumber is 904-334-8475. Thanks
