Quiet Getaway

Our mid-week getaway was just what we were looking for...peace and quiet. Our cabin was clean and well supplied. The beds were comfortable. The location to town was great.

Great location and nice cabin

We enjoyed a short trip to visit family over spring break. Unfortunately our stay was dampened by relentless rain we enjoyed the cabin and our short stay. This cabin is right on the lake by the rock beach. We'll definitely try to come back during warmer, sunny weather. But my son did get some fishing in off the doc and was able to wade in the water a little bit each morning. The cabin is so spacious and a great stay, nothing fancy but perfect for a lake trip. Would recommend!

Best place to stay in Hot Springs, AK. Everything you need and more.

My husband and I booked this trip 5 months ago and came in October 2022. We have been to many places but this by far was the best. We loved this cabin and it fit every need we had. The communication with the owner Jerry was great. This is a place I would highly recommend to everyone who wants the best of it all. So close to everything we wanted to do but far enough to have the county living atmosphere. If you have not been to Hot Springs AK. You need to go and be sure and book this location for your place to stay. We are coming back in September of 2023 and will be booking here as our stay at the place.

A beautiful stay in a lovely cabin

Our family had a great weeks stay in this lovely cabin. It was right on the lake. We enjoyed swimming, fishing, nightly fire side chats, and to our delight, a couple of kayaks for fun on the water. The cabin was clean and had just the right amount of space for us and our 2, 20 something boys. The owner just installed a larger fridge, which came in handy with our weeks worth of food. Hanging out on the deck or in the yard was just the right thing we wanted to rest and relax. The cabin was just a short drive from all of the city and outdoor activities. The owner also posted a list of great restaurants that were right on the lake or pet friendly. We so enjoyed our stay here, and would definitely recommend this cabin for a little R&R.

Perfect Girls Getaway weekend

Weekend Getaway

We had a nice relaxing time at the cottage. The only issues were that we were not aware that the stovetop is convection, and we didn't know how to operate it and there were ants in the kitchen when we arrived. There was spray under the kitchen sink and after spraying they did not come back. The issues were dealt with by the owner and property manager to our satisfaction. The location of the cabin was nice with a pretty view of the lake and the furnishings were nice.

Home away from home

cabin was very spacious for my little family very clean and was as described,loved the location and access to the lake for swimming was nice and convenient the kids loved it ...we would definitely book another stay at this little lake side getaway

Very nice place

All the people we met were exceptionally nice and friendly. Couple small problems were easily and immediately taken care of. No rude people or wild loud parties. Minimum bugs, couple mosquitos. No ticks seen. Fish were not biting very well, not sure why. Cottage slightly smaller than it looks. I would recommend.

Amazing property!

It was exactly as described! It was a beautiful cottage on the lake & we couldn't be more happy with our stay. It was very very clean ! The property owners helped during the whole process. It was a quick weekend get away for my husband's birthday & they helped with ideas and things to do at the start of booking. They even made sure they couldn't help with anything while we were in town. It's nice and secluded from the actual town, but not far from everything Hot Springs has to offer. We will definitely stay here again on future trips. ❤️

Suggestion: quick instructions on how to use cooktop electric induction stove. Couldn’t use left side of it. Would appreciate having a smart TV to connect to my phone. We had a wonderful time!

Nice and quiet

Absolutely loved the cabin. The property was nice and quiet with a beautiful view of the lake, especially at sundown. Interior was clean and felt very homey. Would love to rent again on my next visit.

Mostly good!

The bad: the heater did not work (blew out cold or room temp air for a few minutes here and there) the first night of our stay and it was around freezing temperatures. The good: everything else. The heater started working around mid to late morning and we didn't have any more problems with it. Told our host and she had someone come to look it at it, but at that point it was working. Nothing else to complain about. Beautiful view. Very clean. A little nicer than it looks in the pictures. Overall, a very good experience.

Wonderful Stay

I loved this little cottage. Plenty of room, very clean and wonderful decor. I traveled in order to have a little quiet time and to get away. This was the perfect spot to do it in. Plenty of things to do as well as plenty of peace and quiet. Great Combination! I highly recommend this spot, the hosts are responsive and make it all easy.

Short Get Away

Loved the wooded area to get to the cabin. The deck w/ grill was great. The cabin delightful. Being on the lake and being able to sit, fish or relax outside made the trip worthwhile. Also the the the the set aside area for pets was thoughtful. Carrie, our host, was very understanding and worked with us. Thanks Carrie!

Wonderful place to get away and relax

This cabin has a great location! You feel secluded while being a short drive to everything in the Hot Springs area. Check in was super easy and the owner was there to meet us. My only suggestions would be a hairdryer and more toilet paper.
