Unique Treehouse property at Lake Catherine. Lake toys included.

A unique vacation experience awaits on this private 40 acre retreat. The property borders Lake Catherine, with 2000 feet of private shoreline, woods, creeks and trails to explore. This family friendly property is yours to explore and enjoy. (Children 5 years old and up welcome. If you have children under 5, see our cabin at VRBO# 2533404 ) There are picnic areas, fire pits, hammocks and “quiet spots” with benches for rest and relaxation. Kayaks, paddle boards and peddle boats are provided for your use during the months of
March through November. Enjoy fishing, boating, swimming, walking, wildlife viewing and picnics on your own retreat. Indoor and outdoor games provided.
The roads and driveways were reconfigured in November of 2025 and are easier to navigate.

The treehouse is designed and decorated to help you relax. It features a bedroom with a king bed as well as a loft with a queen bed and two twin beds. The full bath has plush towels with soap and shampoo provided. The kitchen is fully stocked with dishes and utensils. It has a microwave, drip coffee maker, refrigerator/freezer with ice maker, griddle, convection toaster oven with air fryer and hot plates. A charcoal grill and picnic area is just outside. The tall vaulted ceiling and shiplap walls help create a light and airy feel.

The house is air conditioned, heated and also has an all season fireplace. The large wrap around deck has a porch swing and plenty of seating for outdoor relaxing or enjoying a morning cup of coffee with beautiful views of the surrounding mountains and woods. There are televisions in the bedroom and living area. Games, books, movies and a Blu-ray player are available for your enjoyment.

The lake and property is home to numerous birds and other wildlife. Deer, squirrels, chipmunks and all birds native to the area are routinely seen around the property. We regularly see Bald Eagles! Listen for their high-pitched call when you are outside. Geese and ducks are seen daily on the water or flying overhead. There is a wide array of plant life on the property, from the hardwood forests to the wetland areas. In season, enjoy picking wild blackberries, blueberries and muscadines! Don't miss "Big Pine point", and one of the largest pine trees in the state.

The treehouse at Lakeside Memories is a great place for adventure and exploration or a place to get away and relax.

Feel free to bring your boat and use our boat dock. Beach towels, Life jackets and lake toys are provided.
Firewood is provided.

The treehouse doesn't have Wi-Fi. We like to suggest a better connection. Connect with your family and friends, nature or maybe yourself. This is a great place to unplug and relax. (There is good cell reception and your hotspot will work if needed.). There is an open loft and elevated deck so no children under 5. Children 5 years old and up are welcome!

FYI: Lakes Catherine and Hamilton have a "winter drawdown". Months of November - through March 15 of following year, the lake levels are lowered.

We had a fantastic getaway at the Treehouse Cabin in Hot Springs. The cabin was immaculately clean and well stocked for our arrival. The host left several surprise goodies for us to enjoy. Located on the edge of a hill the back porch puts you at treetop level and provides an oasis of quiet while you sip your morning coffee and listen to the call of the birds bringing in the new day. The beautiful large property provides it's own small nature park which you can stroll along the waters edge and through the timbers to visit nearby farm animals. We loved the long gravel (somewhat steeply sloped) driveway which made you feel like you were far away from city life. The cabin is efficiently designed to provide a rustic lake house feel with all the modern 21st amenities. A wooden ladder leads to an open high loft with 2 small and 1 large bed. All 3 very comfortable. The Master bedroom is on the first floor for those less adventurous. Our teenage and young adult children loved the loft and it's one of the signature features of the cabin but I imagine very young children would need to be closely supervised. When ready to return to civilization, you are only a 15 minute drive to downtown with a plethora of restaurant options. It's also conveniently located to nearby parks and attractions. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning to this little slice of heaven very soon.

Our “treehouse” was amazing! Loved the secluded spot. Felt like we were in the woods by ourselves! The property was super clean and had everything we needed! The hosts were great. Super responsive and friendly! Would highly recommend this place for some quiet, family time. Also close to downtown Hot Springs if you want some entertainment outside of the cabin itself!

This amazing secluded property was everything we hoped for in our romantic getaway. It's so relaxing just being in the woods, but there's also plenty to do down on the water. And it's still close to town, which is great, because we were surprised by all that Hot Springs has to offer.The cabin is cozy and comfortable and the porch is amazing. Despite not having an oven, we were still able to cook for two, using the hot plate and electric griddle.The gravel roads are steep, so you might want to leave the Lamborghini at home.Highly recommended property!

Family vacation

We were looking for a relaxing vacation to unwind & be together. This was ideal! The cabin had what we needed to relax. Not having a stove to cook on limited us but we made do with the electric griddle & electric burner. We spent a day at the cove paddle boating & kayaking. The walk was a bit further than we expected but we made it. All in all we had a great time & would rent this spot again. The drive to different sites was never more than 20 minutes.

Great Place for Young Family to stay

If you want a quiet place away from the city this the place for you. The property is very clean with Master bedroom and loft for your family. A small jaunt or car ride down to a fishing/kayaking alcove makes this a great place to visit.

The property was secluded and relaxing. It was a nice change of pace from the others I’ve stayed in, that have several other cabins within view. We loved the privacy of the part of the lake that was within walking distance. We also enjoyed the peddle boat and kayaks that are provided. The only negative takeaway was how steep the hill is to and from the lake area. To the point I wouldn’t drive our suv down it in fear of being stuck at the bottom. Overall this was an A place to stay!
